Loved the haddock in this chippy. It says inside that this is their speciality. Batter was light and not greasy and the fish was fantastic. It was a huge portion of chips and less than £8 so great value. I wasn't massively keen on the chips so only 4 stars. They had some other good looking items on the menu like calamari and fish cakes. Not the normal items on a Scottish menu. Its great to see.

We've only used the delivery option via the website so can't comment on the atmosphere. These guys do very good gluten free fish and chips. Also recommends the frilled lemon and herb fish. Generous portions. The home delivery always arrives quicker than we expect and the communication from hooked regarding our orders has always been excellent.

Had a excellent fish supper with pickled egg with sausage and curry sauce. I found the service fantastic and it was a very clean and well presented shop. The owner was very welcoming and I love seeing a family business. I thoughly enjoyed my food and recommend this fish and chip shop. I will be using it again.

If did not stay over 40miles away from this place I would be there every week, food was fantastic 😋, service was excellent, definitely worth a visit, if possible I would book, it's a busy place, and you will understand why after you've been, yummy 😋 😀

The fish in tempura batter was lovely as where the chips and scampi. Food was well priced and was ready quickly after ordering, can't complain. Top tip, get the seasoning on the chips, oh my!

Good portions, we did the half and half, where you get two small fillets with different batters. Fish was a bit dry, but batter was crisp. I'm still undecided between this place and Marinis across and down the road.

Bloody delicious! Chunky chips with very crispy fish not soggy or greasy. tartare sauce tangy delicious. Mushy peas looks a little bit lumpy but I never liked mushy peas, I always get it for the hubby.

I think this place is great! Good selection and everything is really tasty. Not too expensive. Actually has a good vegan and vegetarian range too which is very rare for fish and chip shop!
