Benihana Glasgow

Tried most of the small fishes available, they were not too small and great for sharing. Particularly liked the pirikara prawns, very tasty!! The miso aubergine was interesting although very strong flavour so we didn't finish it. Delicious gyozas. Friendly staff and quick service, nice setting for a different dining experience. Visited with a voucher and so it was really good value, otherwise it's a bit overpriced.

It was ok, a bit pricey for steak, chicken and rice in a teriyaki sauce. However I guess you are paying for the experience, personal chef cooking for you with a bit of a show. Decent sized portions with average to good food. We had the steak, chicken teppanyaki meal, would I go again.... Hmmm its a maybe to no, sorry Benihana

It was good to experience lunch prepared under a different cuisine. Small portions and larger ones could be mixed and enjoyed together. We found it confusing ordering as the sequencing of service confused. New flavours, spices and ingredients could be enjoyed at leisure. Pricing is reasonable and the staff are gaining experience. It is worth a visit and I will return to try other dishes. Maybe a good idea to share dishes.

Best teppanyakki place in town! Had the chef all to ourselves on a Saturday night which was a bonus. The food tasted great and the chef although she was allergic to seafood made the best seafood diablo! The miso soup was surprisingly tasty. The two things let us down were it took over 45 mins for the chef to come to our table and they had no halal steaks left.
