Authentic, delicious Portuguese food. Friendly staff and nice ambiance. So good we had to take some extra cakes home.
Best food in the southside. Arturo is an icon that deserves all the recognition for bringing quality meals to south Glasgow. A definitely gem.
True authentic Portuguese food.
If you get there and there aren't a couple things that are listed in the menu, guess what ? Food is fresh and it finishes and that's what happens, all menu is great so don't bother.
Most sandwich shops will just slap a sandwich together like you build an Ikea chest of drawers; in this analogy, Arturo's is a skilled craftsman. The parma ham is sliced off the leg in front of you, the cheese is carefully placed on the sandwich, the sun dried tomatoes are evenly placed. This sounds pretentious but it's like watching an artist at work, and when he's doing all this he's chatting to you too.
There's also a good selection of Portuguese deli goods displayed across the wall. There's only half a dozen tables indoors but the summer months adds outside seating too

Delicious food with a very warm welcome! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch followed by very tasty cake and coffee. We were so excited to find a local Portuguese place and looking forward to bringing our Portuguese family here when they visit Glasgow. Muito obrigada 🇵🇹😄

Best cafe in Southside! Arturo is so friendly and hardworking his pork bifana sandwich or with the tomato rice is awesome. Also frango sandwich and lasagne are delicious, great coffee too.
