Great food, great value and friendly professional service. Vegan, vegetarian and Gluten Free diets are diligently and deliciously catered for. All good was fresh and thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. Highly recommend!!!

Four of us booked a table for lunch here on Saturday and we were not disappointed.
The restaurant had just opened when we arrived, I think we were the only table seated at the point. And the atmosphere was a little quiet, but did liven up later when more people arrived.
The menu was extensive with a lot of choice depending on your preferences.
Two of us choose the steak pie, and it was really good. The meat was very tender and the pastry on the pie was spot on as well. The gravy was a little watery for my personal preference but tasty.
The portion size was just right, a good mix of steak pie, potatoes and vegetables.
We had desert and again they were delicious. I highly recommend the strawberry pavlova.
The car park isn’t large but there is ample parking available for guests.
There is also a seating section outside should the weather be friendly enough to sit outside.
I would recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner, the menu had a good selection and service was quick. Our meal for the four of us was reasonably priced and worth the money. We will be back for sure.
Superb pub. Under new ownership and you can tell! The friendly welcome we received was class and made us feel at home. Pints were cold, crisp and clean. Glassware was spotless. Had a delicious pizza to share and devoured it! Toilets clean and fresh. Good ambiance, good clientele, excellent hosts. Can't wait for our next visit. Thanks!
Great food and staff , good value for money
Ham and chicken Sunday roast was amazing! Large chicken breast not slices, lovely ham, crispy roasties, delicious big portion of chive mash, nicely cooked veg & 2 yorkies! Still hot 15 mins after delivery! Would have appreciated more gravy in a separate pot and some stuffing and some desserts available to order but apart from that it was spectacular!
Fantastic family cooked food. Initially wasn't sure as thought it was more of a pub set up, but both me and my Mum were very happy with meal. Had to finnish, rather than take home 👍
Lovely food and exceptional prices! £10 for a roast dinner with 2 meats and 2 Yorkshire puddings! Amazing
