Home » Burger » Food review: Nice ‘N’ Sleazy, 421 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3LG. Nice & Sleazies - interior. In January 2013 readers of jamesvsburger.com voted MeatHammer LTD at Nice N Sleazy the best burgers in Glasgow, but somehow we had managed to avoid them until now…
Best burger I have had anywhere. Meathammer burgers are awesome. Massive in size and very very tasty. Always try get here when making a visit to Glasgow.
Great atmosphere, great soundtrack. Never ate here but enjoyed two boozy Glasgow nights in this perfectly hip dive bar. Spent almost as much in the jukebox as we did i on our bar tab. Try the Gerry Coleman, and you won't be disappointed.
The best burger so far this year. Brioche bun that isn't too buttery and holds its own against the burger and bits. The lovebite is sweet and sticky with peanut butter and chilli jam ?.
Thumbs up for here.
Always a good spot for a night out. Very competitive prices and a good range of drinks. If you are looking for a bar the above will already interest you and their bar floor has a really fun atmosphere. Though I have seldom sampled their menu what I have had has been splendid. Like most city centre bars the combined music and chatter reaches a peak at 10pm-ish and renders most conversation inaudible at worst and straining at best. However I would stress this is a commonality and not at all individual to Nice N Sleazy. Either way, not to fret, the club floor downstairs sports a miniaturized version of the alcohol content upstairs and plenty of opportunity to dance to a wide and quality selection of music. On other nights they sport open mic nights and acoustic performances which are sure to delight.
Great food and the drinks are reasonably priced. The burgers available here are to due for !! .. and do not miss the gigs that happen in the basement .. some really great music happens underneath the floorboards !!
One of my favourite venues in Glasgow. Never had a bad night here, but had some epic night such as Slow Crush who played last Monday. The open mic is always top as well, and was even 9n up the stairs the same night!
Decent - it’s been around for decades and retains its down to earth feeling.
The cocktails sound good in theory but execution isn’t always amazing. Like, the margarita is from a Jose Cuervo ready mixed bottle. Why am I paying £7+ for that?
Anyway, music is good. Great if you can get a booth to sit at. It’s roasting on a Friday or Saturday night when it’s packed.
Ever reliable!
Great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks at reasonable prices, good music, seems like lots going on. Didn’t have any food but menu looks good!
Such tasty food. I had the vegan katsu burger. The fries were fantastic, skin on, just as I like them, and the burger itself was wonderful.
Good atmosphere in the bar itself, mixed crowd, and mixed tunes. Will certainly be back again
The most lovely service always happy to help, let us order outside food in, the band was insane, the atmosphere and most of all the late night karaoke! Immaculate vibes, highly recommend!
One of the best pubs in Glasgow!!!! Great value!!!! Brilliant atmosphere for even for us "older" people. Never feel out of place. Bonus......Great Vegan kitchen
Some fantanulous music on Tuesday night the best I ever heard live in a pub....the guitarists reminded me of Santana and even better ....thanks for the fabulous night
Great spot for birthday 🎂 celebrations with yer Godson 😀
Great place to enjoy ur night out.
Very good music and great staff!! Had really great fun with frds.
What a lovely place. Great staff. Even the bouncers are lovely. Other bars take some notes please.
Queer Theory downstairs is always a highlight. The guys at the desk there are 10/10
Reminiscent of days slipped past! Nothing much has changed since I was last here 25 years ago! Only quieter. But given it was a Wednesday sure it's jumping at the weekends.
Had a brilliant night with family & friends at the Cosmic Empire gig last night.x
still a great atmosphere - food is a bit expensive but some of the nicest loaded fries I've ever had so worth it. (Full vegan menu aswell)
This place has an easy-going laid-back atmosphere... The decor on the walls are different, bright & interesting .Bar staff were friendly & helpful. Toilets are downstairs . Live music is played here 🎵🎶🎸🎸
Superb unpretentious Glasgow venue. Staff are tremendously friendly and helpful. The downstairs is perfect for small gigs, and has a great atmosphere. Recently had the pleasure of seeing Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, l with supporting act True Strays here. What an incredible night it was too. If you can, then support grass roots music, and do it here
Excellent Japanese Food, menu is not extensive but what they do is delicious!
Good pub, decent drinks and hassle free.
