Great venue facing Queens Park on Langside Rd. Served by 34 bus service. Excellent food and staff.Nice street facing terrace. Good dining experience. Has now started to have live friday night music shows, monthly at present. Early days for a new venture.Friday 27/10/23

Was in here recently on a Saturday afternoon, ordered from the set lunch menu. Great menu with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We were seated in the side conservatory which was very relaxing. Service was good for a busy Saturday, drinks are reasonably priced as is the menu. Food was amazing, good portion size and well presented, and although staff were kept busy, still were very friendly and attentive.

A lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff willing to go the extra mile. John and his team know what they are doing and the drinks and food were very well priced and I would highly recommend the food. Will definitely be back

Had a party for my partners 30th in the Ivory last night. The conservatory was lovely and the buffet was fantastic. Great venue for 40 guests, everyone had a fantastic night. The staff were fab, thanks again X

Had lunch at the Ivory today with my daughter and we both ordered nachos and fish and chips. Their nachos are always great and not to be missed. Normally we choose fish in batter, but today we took the waiter’s advice and tried the fish in breadcrumbs. OMG it was absolutely delicious , fresh and beautifully cooked , large portions and the chips were to die for - think they were double cooked. All served with hot mushy peas and decorated with a skewered pickled onion . I wish I had taken a photo.
Considering I read in today’s paper that Edinburgh’s Tom Kerridge was charging £110.80 for the same fish and chips for two, we had a lunch fit for a king for £36.80 for two courses with soft drinks for the two of us. A mention to the pleasant and attentive waiter who looked after us and the chef who supplied such a mouth watering feast.

I have just had dinner in the Ivory and I must say it was delicious. Compliments to the chef.
I cannot begin to say how lovely the waitress is. She certainly knows the etiquette of Good Friendly Customer Service.

latest visit 2022 . Great 2 course dinner great service 2020 Lovely food . Staff great . Will be back for the 65th wedding anniversary celebration back for Mother's Day .👍great food once again . Pub handy beside park when out for a walk . Outside seating , when sun cones out again june lovely fathers Day dinner. Staff under pressure, but service was great

Had tasty meal, with prompt service! Then my elderly father, knocked a glass of Cola, that spilled all over the place. Staff quickly allocated us another table and cleaned up. They were so kind and helpful! Thank you

Had my 30th birthday party here and the staff and venue were brilliant. Excellent communication throughout and even had help on arrival with setting up balloons/banners. Had some difficulties with guests and their drinks but staff went over and above to help. Buffet was brought out at the perfect time and was even asked if I’d like leftovers to be boxed up! Would highly recommend and a big thanks to the team, especially Ashley for a great night.

Attended a baby shower here, staff were fab, very friendly and accommodating. Food was tasty and incredibly well priced, we had a set menu with only one vegetarian option but it was great. Definitely recommend for an event or meal!
