The breakfast we ordered was great. Our server mentioned the chef didn't show for work that day. She took orders, cooked and served entirely alone. Did great. Deserves a medal. Great breakfast. Thanks. A+++

They make decent coffee and hot chocolates. Didn't get the chance get any cakes. This time the cafe must have been closing because the staff was cleaning up and our order was brought to us with the staff still wearing her cleaning gloves.

Had an excellent time there and I am surprised of the other reviews saying that is a bad place.
We had some strong coffee (the way we like it) and lemon pavlova and Choc cake, everything was tasty a d well presented, we saw customers ordering the afternoon tea set and it looked great with a lot of options and large amount of food...

The soup we asked with brown bread and it came with white, we then ordered cake and she got again the order wrong thank goodness she read it back to us before bringing the cakes so we could correct it, but not a lot of attention to the customer.
A lot of cakes we wanted weren't even available that is the 3rd time this happens in few months we have visited just a shame coffee tasted weird like rancid

THe perfect ending a fab day , popped in here at about 6 o' clock for cake ... omg handed a menu which was all lovely pictures of all cakes available with descriptions..I choose black forest gateaux and had a lovely hot chocolate with whipped cream, served by a very pleasant waitress , will definitely be back..😋

Here for afternoon tea, very tasty selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones with 4 types of jam. Tea and all coffees available including lattes etc all within the price.
Would be 5 star however, the tea cups were stained with tea and it was fairly difficult to get the staffs attention even though the place was pretty much empty.

When all that your heart desires is a bacon roll you are often disappointed by the result. Not today, the roll was seeded and sweet and the bacon was brimming out. The coffee was also perfect, in short nothing could be improved upon.

Had a brilliant afternoon tea. Great variety of sandwiches, and cakes were to die for. And just big enough to get a taste of each one. Loads of tea, I think we had 3 top ups. Waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Only negative is that tables are very close together, a bit too cramped.

Maybe 4.10 definitely not friendly service. Our server and greeter were pretty dry and too business like. Also the waiter did not know the ingredients at all and could not assist with us with regards to making selections from the menu
