Cafe Salmagundi - Glasgow - Photo album

I've had a great experience so far with the friendly people here, and my morning coffee was especially enjoyable. It helped to start my day off on a positive note.
Really good cooked breakfast with tasty, high quality items. Only thing I'd say is that it'd be good to have tinned baked beans as an option as, for me, the homemade sauce didn't quite fit. Good full bodied coffee with a lovely flavour. Friendly and welcoming service too.
One of the best wee cafes in the Southside; staff are lovely, service is good and the food is always delicious. They have lots of really fresh breakfast and lunch options, which can be nice when they are sometimes heavier meals in cafes (although they have some more hearty options for those who want
Wow - great find (just near our Airbnb). Food is really excellent. Between us we had a veggie gluten free breakfast stack. A full meat breakfast. And a Cuban sandwich with fries. Each of them excellent quality ingredients and flavoured really well. Mushrooms - yes. Sourdough - yes. Fries were really
Cafe Sal is exceptional. The Menu is super unique (and delicious!) even in Glasgow's thriving coffee scene! We've never found a lentil and chorizo hash quite like this.. Coffee is great, and they sell farm fresh ice cream too! The serving staff are stars, as is the artwork decorating the otherwise
Great local cafe with delicious local food and great coffee and cakes. Really reasonably priced with a fair amount of seating. Loved the staff attention to detail, the hand made loose leaf teabags they put together right in front of you was a particularly nice touch. The staff were friendly and the
I’ve been meaning to visit for ages and got my first chance today. The food was absolutely delicious (I had a cheese and kimchi toastie - way more filling than I had expected). The prices were very reasonable. The staff were all super helpful and engaged. What a lovely business. Go visit.
Salmagundi definitely isn't the cheapest place on the strip but the food is also an exception to the area. Chorizo hash for breakfast and a latte was £13 but it was amazing. A good selection of vegan options means all diets are catered for.
I ordered the vegan breakfast here and I was impressed with my dish. The only thing was the black pudding broke up too easily. Overall worth a visit
The kedgeree special and arepas were incredible! Absolutely delicious lunch stop and a must try if you're in Mount Florida!
