Warm welcoming and full of lovely friendly people x
Fantastic friendly place for coffee n a cake. Great value - chicken mayo sandwich, large coffee and a slice of cake £6.90. Bargain.
I arrived just as they’d stopped serving food but they kindly made me a delicious sandwich. Great service.
A lovely sunny spot beside the canal towpath - and it's cheap and cheerful. Staff are friendly and welcoming, I had a nice sandwich and a cold drink for £3.50 so prices are very reasonable.
And it's a Community cafe project so it's worth giving them your money - although if the cafe is closed there is a pub on the main road within 2 minutes walk. It's nicer at The Stables - trust me!
Lambhill Stables is a great place for a walk and enjoy the space
The cafe is friendly and you can get cake and coffee or on a cold day a hot bowl of soup
It is a community run organisation
Worth a visit
Amazing cake, chocolate orange and biscoff rocky road!
What an amazing spot! It's in a beautiful setting, with a lovely (and dog-friendly!) little cafe, with friendly service and great prices. We'll be back for sure!
Great little cafe serving soup toasties baked potatoes and fresh baked cake made on site. Food is delicious and very reasonable priced. Bike hub for all your bike needs they even sell reconditioned bikes at good prices. The gardens behind the stable building has lovely views. You can pick up a pre loved book or game for a small donation. All the staff are lovely and friendly. It's a great little stop off on your walk or cycle along the canal
Lovely to see the stables looking so good. Flowers and fruit and veg all grown on site. Gr at base to take a walk around the gardens and the marshes and canal and food was delicious. Had a toasty and home made cauliflower soup, it was lovely. Staff super friendly too. I'd recommend for sure.
Lovely staff/volunteers, nice food at a good price. Great wee addition for the local community! Get supporting folks!
Lovely friendly staff and the food is cheap and good ,you can sit inside or outside as there are lovely benches and tables which were made by hand you can sit overlooking the canal !
This is a wee gem of a place. Stumbled accross it and a lovely surprise to which I will defenitely be back. We visited on a lovely sunny day but even if it wasn't sunny there is a cracking log fire to welcome you in. Very clean and bright building with toilet facilities. The staff and volunteers were friendly and welcoming. There was my dad, my son and me who visited and had 2bowls of home made chicken noodle soup, 2 plates of sandwiches 1 all day breakfast a tea, coffee and a can for £15 which I thought was very reasonably priced. Much of the food grown is supported from their own alotment grown veggies. The cakes looked good too and will defenitely have one next time. Some seating outside too and places to park your cycle. There are small gardens and wee areas yo sit and chill with a book. A lovely wee haven. I made a point of thanking staff for their hospitality on our first of many visits.
Took my granddaughter to the open day and she had a fantastic time. She enjoyed the obstacles course got her face painted and just had a lot of fun. The people who arranged this did a great job. Big thank you from us
Have used the facility on a number of occasions for bike repair and a snack/coffee and each time they have been very helpful and pleasant.
The café and gardens are a great meeting place for both locals and travellers.
Very clean and pleasant environment. Lovely homemade food and cafetiere coffee. Not expensive. Also visited bike repair shop and found great service. Too cold today but imagine it's a lovely place in the summer !!!
Such a little gem! Friendly service, yummy breakfast and so much to see in the gardens leading to possil marsh. Highly recommended!
