We had lunch here. It was empty, so we were a little unsure about going in at first. There were a few vegetarian options on the menu displayed in the window, but when we went inside and said we were veggie the proprietor kindly said he could make various vegetarian options for us that weren't on the menu. I went for a vegetarian pizza and my husband asked for a vegetarian calzone. They were both freshly cooked with a good variety of vegetables included and they were huge. They were hot and delicious. I could only eat half of mine, so took the rest away in a box. Lovely food and very reasonably priced.

Great little place, it's nothing fancy to look at from outside but the food is absolutely beautiful and fresh. Myself and my sister enjoyed our meals and chatted with a few regulars too. Mushroom brushetta was delicious as was the carbonara and spicy chicken pizza. Healthy portions too. Very quaint and suited for our requirements. Will be back soon.

A simple but delicious lunch. The price is more than exceptional and the food is really good! I can’t recommend this place more, especially if you’re on a budget like my friends and I. We ordered garlic bread, pasta carbonara and veggie lasagna and loved everything. It’s a small and family owned business that will make sure they can assist you in anything they can. Definitely worth it and more :) thank you!

We had 2 Groupon vouchers to use here. The food is nice and fresh. 2 old people run the takeaway, the son is gaming inside the takeaway and don’t help. There are about 8 tables to sit but mainly people order takeaway. The size is small so it will be messy if too many people dine in. Not interested atmosphere hence I call it takeaway.

Booked this place on group on, its little more than a chippy with tables, but I've paid more for worse, service was fine and the food was adequate, wee bit of background music would be nice.

We went today as a family of 5 .. Myself , husband and our 3 kids aged 15, 12 and 6. The owner could not have been anymore friendly. He even offered me his parking space outside as it was not being used . Food is beautiful, fast made , fresh and so authentic.. Highly recommend for a chilled out meal ❤

Nice wee relaxing place. The fish and chips were good(the price unbeatable) and the service was polite but not o.t.t. Shall visit again and go Italian next time. 👌

Great food and great prices. Penne with salmon was particularly good. Owner very friendly and attentive. Not typical Italian as it does fish and chips as well.

We had dinner once. The service was good, and the meals (I ordered soup and risotto) were very good considering prize/quality.

The staff was very attentive. They answered very kindly to our questions and were very patient, we didn't have the voucher when we ordered and while they were preparing the food I bought the coupon. The food was good, reasonable portions. We had Bruschetta al Pomodoro (excellent), a lasagne and a pizza with salmon. Value for money with voucher - recommended.

My fiance and I purchased a Groupon for this restaurant on February 12th. Two Italian pizzas and a soft drink each for £12. It was amazing. The food was filling, fresh, and so delicious. The owners were charming, attentive, and very kind in seeing that all of our needs were met. This quaint cafe was a delight to visit, and we will be coming back. ****Do not listen to the bad reviews. This is a hidden gem that definitely deserves a visit. ***

We had a really great experience in the small restaurant, the pizza and lasagna were amazing, the chef was very polite. It was quite inexpensive and I can recommend to give this place a visit.

Prices are amazing for the quality and portion sizes. Don't be put off just cos it's not a fancy franchise. The menu is much more varied than Bella Italia and pizza is far superior to Di Maggio's. Been in a few times. Tried the fish and chips which are actually better than the chippy's. The pizza is made using dough imported from Italy and the ice cream tri is to die for. The family who Tesoro are lovely and as we've been in a few time now they give us freebies (sides/desserts) which very kind. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're local and looking for cheap sit in/takeaway with varied menu :)
