Dahi Bala 5/10
Pakora 7/10
Shopkeeper is a friendly guy, no card accepted though so don't forget to take cash, there is an atm next to the shop but don't work.

Best samosa salad in Glasgow? I think so! Not much more to say really, byriani is really nice when they have it, and really reckoned to get down early on a Sunday morning for fresh channa poori

Small selection of sweets but quite nice. The Jalebi was probably the best I've had for a long time and definitely worth trying.

Nice pakistani sweets. Their samosas are lovely. Whenever I go to Glasgow, their samosas are a must. If they can serve samosas with hot chikar chole, that will be amazing. Their rasmalai is good as well.

Service is poor as staff need training dealing with customers effienctly and the owner can be rude.
The quality of the sweets and food is very good. They make it fresh and it's the most popular sweet shop in the area or even Glasgow. Shame the service doesn't match the quality.
I would definitely recommend the Somosa salad and fresh jalebi.

A small family owned Pakistani sweet shop selling traditional home made South Asian sweets along with "Pani Puri", Biryani, paan, pakoras and probably their most popular savoury dish, "samosas" or to be more specific samosa salad where they offer either one or two samosas crumbled into a tub, topped with a shredded mixed salad and then drenched with a tamarind and yogurt sauce.
They make fresh jalebies daily which are a must buy, especially if they are still warm. Gulab jamun are also very good.

Coming from a not-very-diverse town this was an amazing find for my appetite! The samosas were absolutely delicious, and all the other savouries looked and smelled fantastic too. The sweets were equally good, especially the little round donuts soaked in syrup (forget their name) - I ate dozens of them during our short trip! Will definitely come back when I'm next in Glasgow.

This was my first visit to Shandar. A friend said that they do excellent samosas, so that is why I went there. Once I saw the sort of things that they had, I just went into "spend" mode. I bought two 1kg boxes of assorted Asian sweets (custom selections) and a dozen samosas. It was £24 in total. I have only eaten one potato samosa so far, and it was completely delicious. I can't wait to eat more of what I bought today.
