Was on a wee trip to Glasgow with my mum and found the blue lagoon, went in for dinner and was absolutely delighted, the food was amazing, I know its only chippy food but, seriously good chippy food is hard to get, batter was light and crispy, cooked perfectly, not greasy at all, we loved it so much we went back our last night too. The staff were really friendly and the price was really good to deffo recommend 100% we had a side each and I'd added a gravy, otherwise our food would have been under £10

Blue Lagoon has definitely upped their game in recent years. Now does Gluten Free Fish and Chips or smoked sausage. Separate fryer, does mean you have to wait for things to be cooked, but if you are coeliac then your used to this. I would suggest that they try adding a few more things to their gluten free offerings, eg Sausage, burger, etc. Over all a decent chippy and it is open a lot longer than most.

I very much enjoyed my recent trip here, the staff and food were top notch, thank you very much! (I regret not going for the deep fried Mars bar but the double fish special was more than enough for me - delicious!)

Next to George Square, you can take out meals, and there are attractions to visit next to it. The location is good. The waiter had a good service attitude and patiently introduced us to the menu. The food was also delicious. Next to George Square, you can take out meals, and there are attractions to visit next to it. The location is good. Brilliant, welcoming and very polite and patient service. Fish and chips were excellent, I would have waited an hour for it but I didn't, it was served up within 15 minutes. Next time I'm in Glasgow I know where I'll be going.

We missed our chance to scarf down on some fish and chips while in London. We got lucky and got served by Nicky, an excellent Glasgow representative with a beautiful accent. The Wife was not sure about Irn Bru but ended up enjoying the soft drink. What flavor is it? I say cream soda. The Wife says it tasted something like orange Fanta. The main dish was a haddock with a lovely meaty texture embraced inside a crispy batter. We share the combo plate which included the drink, a slice of bread and butter plus the chips. I always use tartar sauce when available. We threw in a serving of mushy peas for good measure. Since we are heading to Iceland with its own Blue Lagoon, we have BL on our minds. Having met Nicky, we want to back to Glasgow’s famous chippy. This is worth a visit.

Visited from Suffolk, this place is amazing! Food was wonderful, fish so fresh, big portions (had to leave some chips). Staff so friendly and attentive. Great accessibility in restaurant area for wheelchair with very clean disabled toilet with baby change facilities. If we ever return to Glasgow, will definitely come back here.

Breakfast in a chippy! We were welcomed and served throughout our visit by a lovely friendly lady (South African, unfortunately we did not ask her name). Service was excellent, table and area was spotless. Sauce bottles were clean and not covered in hard sauce you find in other cafes. Breakfast was £7.95 And came with toast and large mug of tea (served in plastic mug though). Got 2 square (awful), 2 bacon (tasty), 1 blackpudding (very tasty), beans (good), 2 potato scones (tasty). Opted for no egg hence 2 scones. They forgot the tomato but brought it over when I asked (very disappointing in the tiny slice - picture attached). I apologise for my half eaten breakfast with the exception of the tomato as that was all I got. When we left our server wasn't around but we shouted thank you to the 2 other ladies who did not reply, hence the 3 stars for atmosphere.
