Absolutely lovely place, wonderful service, best fish and chips I have ever had, gorgeous fresh fish, and the place was spotless (even the bathroom). Would highly recommend and will be going again!
Been a few years since visiting Glasson Docks due to the pandemic, after a walk around we spotted a sign for Dalton Arms and decided to head over for some lunch. Not dissapointed at all, very friendly service. The food was spot on and was homemade and fresh. What a great find tucked away next to the smokehouse. Definately worth a visit if you are in the area and are after a drink and some food. You wont be dissapointed. Definately going to drop by for lunch next time we are over that way.
A rare find. Actual home cooked food. Highest quality. Value for money. Great location. Staff that are effective, kind and hospitable. Beer great. Child friendly. Dog friendly. Live music. Give this a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Friendly welcome from owner and Indy the dog. Good selection on the menu, beef and ale pie with chips then apple crumble and custard, all home made including the chips. Not long to wait for food witch was delicious and hot. Tucked away in the corner of Glasson Dock, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The atmosphere fits very well for where the pub is located.
We was down at Glosson for 3 days and everyday we was there for a few hours each day.
The Dalton Arms is very Dog friendly. We enjoyed a brilliant Sunday lunch, beautifully cooked. Great menu choice & excellent value. Lovely staff, all in a very relaxed atmosphere. We hope to go back soon.
Probably THE best pie I've ever tasted. This one is cheese, potato and red onion, which cheesy gravy. Heavenly.
The pub was nice and food was really good i did enjoy my order.. I loved the treatment of staffs they was really nice
My wife said it was the best steak she has had in a very long time and having tasted a piece I agree. No fat or gristle, just soft and delicious. My food was also very good quality. Good value too, with friendly staff (and dog!). The reviews sounded good on here which is why we chose the Dalton Arms and was not disappointed. Highly recommended. Would definitely like to return and I'll go for the steak myself next time.
We attended for a wedding reception which was lovely. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Didn't get opportunity to try the food but a great choice of drinks. Good parking and wheelchair accessible
