I'm not a local but I've been in this pub a couple of times and never received bad service. Decent little place to get away from the hustle and bustle, especially when there are events on in town.

A small local pup that is very friendly. A step into yesteryear. This establishment has a skittle alley, pool table and a jukebox.
The local people are very friendly and will in olve you in conversation. It is a clean pub but has a dog behind the bar that can sometimes get a bit vocal.
We sampled the local cider and where very happy with the temperature and flavour.
