Angel Inn - Glemsford - Photo album

Walked the Stour Valley trail and called for lunch at the Angel Inn, more by luck than anything else. It was, our lucky day! Two of us had drinks, chips, chicken wings and salt and chilli squid for £20. However, I must say that my general perception is that you get what you pay for so expectations w
I have been to the Angel Inn several times now for food and drink. It's a lovely local village pub with charm and character, they sell a great selection of alcohol including proper real ales, lager and spirits. The food has always been excellent and a great price for what you get. Sundays the Inn
My wife and I had a delicious Sunday lunch at the Angel today. It is under new management and they seem really keen to understand if we enjoyed the meal and for suggestions for improvements (a nice personal touch). To be honest we couldn’t fault the roast. Big portions and lots of veg and variety.
The missus and myself had a wonderful crab salad for lunch, followed by ice cream, all washed down with a few drinks, great food, great service, would definitely recommend the food.
We went here for valentine's day and the set meal was lovely. Such good value and the wine was also lovely 💖 the atmosphere was also cosy and friendly will be going again. Thank you for a lovely evening.
We enjoyed a quite extraordinary and generous Sunday lunch. Really good price. Friendly locals, dog friendly, great ale and lager. Set amidst the local community the pub is something of a thriving hub - always plenty coming up in the diary. Spacious of sunny outside seating and a huge marquee. Landl

Very warm welcome & generous portions. Definitely recommend
Myself and my wife were recommended this place and it certainly didn't disappoint. The food is outstanding and the customer service is second to none! Absolutely outstanding! Thank you Angel Inn
Very friendly pub, good service and excellent food. Strongly recommended.
Best Sunday roast I've had in a pub. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back for more food
Great food in generous portions!
Seriously friendly, chatty locals, nice beer, very relaxed, the food looked good, we didn't eat there as fancied Chinese, but liked it so much we popped back in after our meal for a few more, posh George is mesmerizing, the poshest voice I have ever heard, could have listened to him all day! Lovely
Lovely meal. Good atmosphere. Friendly people. Excellent value.
