A beautiful hotel in a beautiful backdrop. The views are breathtaking and the staff are very friendly and helpful with plenty of parking and a few electric chargers. The food was delicious and the whole experience was great, we would definitely return.
Stunning location. Had afternoon tea overlooking Ullswater Lake. Fantastic food and service and lovely garden for a short stroll after. Will definitely be coming back for a weekend stay.
We called in for lunch at the Ramblers bar as we normally do when passing but it didn't open until 4.30 so we were told that we could use the hotel which is absolutely stunning with gorgeous views.

Stunning location unbelievable views of Ullswater. Silver service lunch immaculate. Food was impressively served at a cost. Would recommend as an excellent experience just for the beautiful views and the genteel setting impressive afternoon teas available.
A meal with a view. The food was expertly cooked and a great value and for the type of establishment it is, there was plenty on the plate to satisfy a hunger. The front of house were very well presented and a delight to talk too, nothing was to much for them and made our evening a very pleasant one.
