We thought it was closed when we arrived but it was just very quiet. The lovely landlady allowed our dog in and cooked a delicious lunch freshly just for us. Mysteriously the cellar was closed so only bottled drinks but my Tribute was just fine. Not sure why it wasn’t busy on a Saturday lunchtime…
Awesome place!! The food is fantastic - I can recommend the slow cooked beef brisket; the beers are well kept - certainly all the 'Tributes' I tested were; And Steve and Dodger create a great, friendly atmosphere. And we came home with fresh duck eggs that are available from the bar!!!

cosy riverside pub. very welcoming and friendly staff. excellent food. Barman knows his trade, especially gins. efficient service. Advance booking essential, only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and often fully booked.
We both had ham egg and chips which was excellent. The pub looks a bit run down and was serving only bottled products on the lunchtime we visited, but they were all well chilled. Service was friendly.
First time visiting due to recommendation. Food was just brilliant, the pork belly was the size of my forearm! value for money is great!
the atmosphere was your usual local pub, hustling and bustling! the manager has great charisma about him and very chatty and welcoming!
