Fabulous tea room with a delicious choice of food including a daily roast. Had lunch with my mum and daughter. Highly recommend the sundaes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Gem of a place tucked away in a alley near the Cathedral.
Booked a lovely Celebration tea for a friend's birthday and we were really pleased with the entire experience. From the phone booking to settling the bill at the end, it has been a pleasure to deal with friendly, professional members of staff at Lily's Tearoom. All the food was beautifully presented
Just had a delicious lunch here. Sandwiches with chips resting outside opposite the Beatrix Potter house. We had a delicious lemon meringue pie which we shared. Gorgeous little spot. Staff are wonderful too.

I popped in to Lily's as a last minute decision, to treat my friend to lunch. The quiche we ordered was the best I've ever tasted. Good service, good food, great experience.
A lovely little place for a bite to eat, situated in a picturesque alley close to the cathedral. Nicely set out - face the window to have a view of the quaint Beatrix Potter shop. I had the dish of the day, local sausages and 'crushed' potatoes. The sausages were delicious, but I would have liked pe
