Cafe On The Cut - Gloucester - Photo album

Excellent..at last something with character in the docks instead of the usual lifeless coffee shops. Small...friendly, good banter. Swan pecking at the window to get food. I loved it.
The Fawlty Towers of canal boat dining. Food is good and well priced. The interior is cosey and spotlessly clean. The proprietor Vanessa, is as mad as a box of frogs which makes the experience that much better. Never a dull moment on the good ship Amber.
Very friendly owner, everyone chatting with each other. Vegan food is warming and home cooked style. Kept warm with coal stove. Very quaint. Worth a visit.
Unique experience and great value for money. Two caffetiere's and a delicious homemade Welsh cake for £4.30 and a really lovely friendly owner!
Loved the food, the ambiance and Vanessa the proprietor! Very special!
Just had fantastic Tapas evening with great friends! Thank you Vanessa for looking after us so well!
Excellent cafe on a narrow boat, based in Gloucester Docks
