Fantastic local pub hidden on the side of the river Severn. Food is excellent, focus is an wide range burgers for anyone interested. Staff are lovely and helpful. though the inside of the pub lacks room to swing a cat there is plenty of seating outside for those fine weather days.
Lovely little pub by the river, the perfect place to unwind! We had lunch here, very reasonably priced food and the portions were generous. The car park is small but there is plenty of parking at the side of the lane leading up to the pub. I will definitely be returning!
Great village pub by the river Severn , Which has a good ale & great cider selection. The landlord & barman were both friendly & helpful too.
A beautiful unique pub in a gorgeous setting. Great service and food too..
A fantastic proper British pub, beer n cider direct from barrels, good food and banter from the locals. Back again with my Dad for father's Day, brilliant roast lunch.
Amazing place. Food is amazing, great service and lovely staff. Can't recommend enough.
To die for burgers, in the most charming surroundings. Loved the place, the food and the location. Dog and dirty boots friendly!
The venue is nice and away from the city. The food is presented well and they don't skimp on the ingredients. My food tasted great. It costs about the same as a chain pub but the feel is more homey and the staff are very nice. The outdoor seating is nice. My one suggested area of improvement is fo
We arrived at 1515 and the pub still accommodated - which was a relief. The food was excellent. Plenty and good quality. The most dog friendly pub we have been to - even dished up some food for our dog. The owner was very friendly and a great host. Even let me try his battered cream egg! Lovely pub
If you are going for food don't order too much as portions are so large! Very friendly young couple run the place. Great burgers. All cooked to order so leave enough time as you may have a wait if they are busy.
This is an excellent small and quaint country pub on the banks of the river Severn with tables outside. It is approached by very minor rural roads. They serve excellent real ales and good home cooking. Very hospitable staff. Great area for walking, particularly along the river.
Amazing carvery, small friendly pub x
The best fish and chips I have ever had amazing value and was huge! Lovely pub and staff, great ales and location is right by the river. Be patient witb food order as small pub and bar staff do cooking but well worth the wait. Coming back today again!
Went here just because we wanted to have some food by the river and this pub was brilliant. Friendly staff, great food, great Views and to top it off great dogs around that were very friendly. Will be back again. Thank you
We were a family group of 19 adults/ children who booked at very short notice for the Sunday before Christmas 2018. The owners were amazing, they said that if we didn't mind eating after 14.00 they would feed us all! They gave us our own cosy room with a really well cooked roast carvery meal - three
Lovely food, amazing prices and such a friendly landlord. Would highly recommend this place. Also situated in a beautiful location. Will definitely be coming back again!
Happened upon this place purely by chance but it has a real warm charm. Yes, it is rustic but the friendly, relaxed atmosphere right by the river makes this venue ideal for a summer evening out. A little out of the way for us, but it won't stop us going back
Great food. Welcoming and friendly. Beautiful location. Can't ask for more from a rural countryside pub.
