My family decided to go out for dinner this Christmas Day and choose the Greyhound for the £49.50 per person pre-booked and paid for in October. Fantastic menu and food with three courses, plus sorbet, cheese and biscuits. Huge compliments to the chef and also huge thanks to all the staff, everything was very well organised, all the staff were cheerful and working hard to ensure everyone of their guests had a nice day. Thank you.
I had a really nice meal with My Dad here to night as We always have done. It was good to know you still have the grill night on thursday too. I had a nice steak, and chips, also a lovely bubbly sundae 🍧, also a free drink with the meal. 🍺 Thank you, see you again soon, Sarah 😋
Lovely food and great staff! Betty family friendly plenty of room for a pushchair which is always good. Food was very good, could not do enough for you. Will definitely be back

Called to find out if they did take away pizza and Denis couldn't have been more helpful. Pizza was ready to collect in 20 mins and it was really fresh and tasty. Would definitely order again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was really good value for money, with decent portion sizes and it was delicious.
My only small criticism is that the table menus weren’t the cleanest so we ended up with bits of food on the table after looking at the menus.
We arrived at mid-day as a party of 14 for a funeral wake. Bar staff set up a tab for us & everyone ordered their own drinks & then food from the standard lunch menu. We were served by Darby & Ashleigh who couldn't have been more helpful. We all enjoyed our food & drink greatly & had a lovely time reminiscing about Mum. Thankyou very much to the whole Greyhound team.
Food was good, Amy the server was friendly and doing 3 jobs at once.
Atmosphere wasn't great, food was meh even by pub grub standards, service was the best, perks to Amy for running around and the barman who was friendly.
First time at this pub as I was travelling and fancied a pit stop. Very welcoming and friendly staff I was served by Demi she was fantastic. Great food also i had a burger it was cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be back and i recommend this pub to anyone.

There's a pleasant atmosphere even when it's busy or there's a big sports event going on.
The only criticism hence the four stars is sometimes particularly when it's busy the service can be quite slow.

Staff friendly and helpful lovely areas to sit and have quality time together decor easy on the eye food good says on the menu what u want and you get exactly what it says. Will definitely be visiting again

Attended here with some of my residents, was a peaceful atmosphere and very welcoming for all. Food was amazing. Service from Nikki was great! Both times I’ve visited. (Normally site at table 22)
Everything really good. Staff really friendly. Our only complaint was it didn't appear to be really busy but took an hour from ordering to getting the food
