What a gem, we only discovered Athena Olives this week when visiting Gloucester for a business meeting, we only wish we had discovered this sooner.
All we can say is we’ll make an effort to buy some whenever we go into Gloucester from now on - quite simply the best olives we have ever had anywhere

The Olives! 🤤 Omg I'm still thinking about the olives I bought from here a year after a 1000 mile, summer road trip. Stall-holder has a hard sell technique but totally worth it, every olive was an absolute joy. Wish I could order them online, bit too far to come again.
Lovely lady did a great job replacing my watch strap took her time as it's an expensive watch. Great butchery as well

An amazing little cafe specialising in breakfast and other British quisine.
I went for a big breakfast and for £5.95 it couldn't be faulted for 2 eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 sausages, 2 tomatoes, 2 slices of fried bread and two lovely slices of black pudding.

Excellent eclectic mix of stalls from Bakery, deli, olives, vinyl records, model vehicles, fish and much more. An aromatic delight. I succumbed to the Turkish Delight on the olive stall, so many flavours.
For a cosmopolitan city like Gloucester it's good to have a market that reflects this. The market features an excellent spices and olives stall, a butchers, sweets, leather and clothes repair, polish specialities, fishmongers to name a few. Its an indoor market with good use of space.

First week since I moved to Gloucester and been to the pershore fish stall last weekend and today , the best thing is the service , love the way they clean and slice the fishes . The quality is really good and will be a regular customer 😃 the overall market is a good place with good stalls.

As markets go this is okay. There was a lovely stall that sold spices, olives, Turkish delight etc. They were delicious and the stall owner was just lovely. I'd certainly stop by her stall if I was in Gloucester again
Great old-fashioned indoor Market great sewing and knitting stall , suit alterations stall , hosiery and clothing unusual items found here fab butcher fish man and sweets spices actually most things that we are missing in the highstreet these days and amazing friendly people
