Excellent food and the best Peshwari naans I have ever had.
It was very quiet, in fact we were the only people dining in but service was great. Food of a good quality. Especially liked the monkfish starter. We often call in here if we are in Gloucester and are never disappointed. It has had a refurb since we first started coming. Modern with Indian music. Only lacked atmosphere because of lack of diners but it was early on a Tuesday evening. Certainly recommend.
Really lovely Indian, Staff friendly and welcoming. They helped with Menu as my partner doesn't like too spicy food. There food was so lovely and hot.. Plenty of seating inside. There is no car park but parking is 5 minute walk. They do takeaway as well. I found was so nice and really well decorated inside. Reasonably priced and definitely be going again. It is on the road near Kingsholm Rugby Stadium and 5 minute walk from Gloucester town centre and 15 minute walk from Gloucester Quays..
Nice spacious restaurant, food nicely prepared and presented. Good flavours. Drinks a little pricey, bug I would hgo again.
I was quite reluctant to do a takeaway as this was the first time I was going to try the restaurant and desperately needed something spicy and filling , really wanted a Indian briyani . The king prawn briyani - was surprised it had an omelet which was good , the quality and taste of the briyani rice was good and enjoyable but the king prawns in the briyani was not upto the mark as they were bland and had no taste to them so wouldn’t accept that this was a prawn briyani but more like the prawns were just added to the briyani rice. Overall not bad but could have been much better .
Excellent food, the fish starters were amazing and not what you would normally expect from an Indian restaurant. Main course was also amazing, would highly recommend.
We had parastatal, roti, Chana masala & bhendi. Food was great, I would give 5/5 for taste, perfect spice level.
Had take away, food was excellent, would also eat in the restaurant. Will be having food from here again.
Never had a bad meal from this place. I use it every couple of weeks. Amazing food and friendly staff. I highly recommend you visit or have a takeaway.

Enjoyable is an understatement: Taste Of India plays host to one of the best Indian restaurants in Gloucester. This five star restaurant in the centre of the city of Gloucester is the curry spot you have to add to your radar. The food is mesmerising and when they say melt in your mouth, it actually melts in your mouth.
Prawn Puri is my go to starter and may I say the prawns were ever so caressed by the puri that they complimented each other so well. Now we move to the mains. What can I say other than their South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken, OH MY GOODNESS! Had they said that the chicken they used were imported from south Indian would have been believable because the curry tasted traditional and authentic. Now to end a mouth watering meal we need ice cream and their selection of desserts is appealing. Felt as if I was a child in a sweet shop not knowing what to go for. Settled for their mint kulfi which was exactly what the doctor ordered.
After the meal, a floater coffee was needed. The staff very ever so friendly making the meal ever so enjoyable and memorable. We were able to thank the chef for the amazing meal that was prepared. Presentation is Taste Of India's USP and boy is it a big one. They say the eye feeds the stomach and was I stuffed after our visit to this fine establishment. Highly recommended and a must go for the citizens of Gloucetsershire.
Fabulous meal last night. Order was quick, food hot and tasty. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Couldn't recommend this restaurant any more strongly. Definitely the best in Gloucester.
