Best fish and chips in miles, can't fault the place and everything is cooked fresh. Chips are soft but crispy and the battered scallops oh my Lord best. The prices are very good and have good range of stuff on the board. The employees are very friendy and make you feel comfortable and the place itself looks very smart indeed. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone

We were visiting Gloucestershire from Bristol followed our sat nav to this fish and chip shop, and well I am so glad we did, amazing customer service, food was not only cooked well and tasty, but decent portion sizes as well. Will definitely revisit if around this way and will recommend to anyone visiting Gloucestershire.

This was my first time to go there (recommended by my flatmate!) The owner is friendly and the shop is clean and tidy (they got 5 for food hygiene) I ordered a large fish and chips(cod). The portion is big (couldnt finish at all haha) and also the most important thing - the food is amazing. Definitely will come again!

Visited Gloucester for work and had researched where to get a good take away from as there were 6 of us. The Wellington Fryer did not disappoint and certainly lived up to its five star rating. The owner and his assistant were really welcoming Most of us opted for fish and chips and all of us agreed it was the best we’d ever had !! Will definitely revisit when we are back in the area.

Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Changes the oil regularly with definitely makes a difference in taste. Also home made fish cakes have a touch of spice. The premises are very clean . Oh and I almost forgot to mention the staff, they are extremely customer focused .

Absolutely brilliant shop. Immaculately clean, well designed but most importantly the service was welcoming and friendly. Also... the food is amazing! Chips are crispy and fluffy, fish beautifully cooked. I recommend people head down to Wellington Fryer and check it out.
