Another superb night at the guildhall . 16 of us came from Swansea to watch the great Gordon Davis . We are ready to book again . Gordon never disappoints. World class tribute to the king himself . Also all the staff we great at the theatre once again

Another great music venue hosting some great bands recently including Kula Shaker and Dodgy. Sound system is not quite as good as some other small venues in the Bristol area but it's worth a visit - the sprung floor is amazing when everyone is jumping!!

Great venue located close to the City Centre, good acoustics and a bar with Guinness (very important). Security present, but very professional and not over bearing.

The guild hall has to be one of the very best venues in Gloucestershire. When the crowd starts jumping, the floor starts bouncing. Space was fantastic. They were high energy and crowd pleasing

My absolute favourite venue. Not the most obvious place from the outside, but inside it is fabulous. A beautiful boutique cinema cafe bar and ideal size auditorium with great sound and a bouncy floor! As Goldilocks might say, not too big, not too small, actually just right. Seen dozens of gigs here, always fab.

Tucked away and then you go in and it's a stunning venue. Nice and small, lovely little bar. Saw my favorite musician and met him after the concert! Amazing evening and staff were lovely

Am a wheelchair user, went to a standing concert. The staff were very helpful, assisted with lift and stairlift, taking the anxiety out of entry and exit. In the concert hall an area had been set aside for wheelchair users, it was not cordoned off but most other concert goers respected and understood not to stand directly in front blocking the view. There were security staff on hand throughout the evening.

Visited the Guildhall for a gig. Venue is accessed via a precinct with an NCP car park at rear. Shops & restaurants close by. The venue itself holds many different rooms & is very traditional inside. The gig was held in a large room with no seats. There is a small bar at the back off the room plus another bar situated just outside which does have seating. The sound men did a great job & the lighting was amazing Everyone had a great time Looking forward to seeing the same band (Special Kinda Madness) next year.

Love this venue and really appreciate having the opportunity to experience a wide range of both new and established artists locally. Last night was Gaz Coombes, a real treat, what a fabulous musician! Have also enjoyed the showing of An Irish Goodbye recently with the Oscar winning writers there. And last year loved the comedian Mark Watson, and the awesome Turin Brakes. Also seen plenty of films, with coffees in the cafe. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Shout out to Rachel who was selling merch last night rather than looking after our jackets!😄

Gloucester's cultural heart. Too often passed by or ignored altogether, the Guildhall is the only venue for decent live entertainment in the city and has been for many, many years. A recent (2020?) revamp has changed the cinema for the better (more comfy seats). The selection of entertainment offered is fairly mixed ranging from low brow tribute acts to high brow films. The art exhibition area changes throughout the year and is always worth a visit. It's obvious that someone's worked hard to create functional spaces in an historic building. The meeting rooms upstairs are well maintained and serviced. The bar is in need of a rethink as service and drink selection is not up to the standard expected by many these days.
