Very friendly smiling staff, community feeling inside, a lot of locals enjoying their hot brew. Coffee wasn't good but warm Panini was exactly what I needed. Served with fresh vegetable, which was a pleasure and unexpected surprise. Surprise and something I've never seen before were crisps served with it. Didn't taste bad, but with current problems with obese population I would choose more vegetables instead. Anyway, we had a great time but for the quality of coffee I give 4 stars this time.
Had a very pleasant stroll around the walled garden followed by a visit to the cafe. We had a very nice coffee and tea with a delicious fruity scone and slice of lemon meringue sponge. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent. Indoor and outside seating available. And easily accessible toilets. Will definitely be returning.
One of the best-looking and tasty Battenberg Cakes that I have eaten this year, well maintained by the students & staff in the café with barely no issues, apart from a minor confusion with the table system there.
A wonderful little cafe which we visit a few times a year together with the garden centre, shop, and now an excellent 'Vintage' shop. The staff are helpful, the food very reasonably priced and cakes superb. We would support more if we lived closer, give it a try if you haven't already!
Lovely atmosphere, the staff are accommodating and kind. The quality of food is good, and the pricing is fair and affordable.

Can sit outside in the cafe and take the dogs so nice on a sunny day! Inside looked nice too but not dog friendly. Reasonably priced with lots of food options. Staff were friendly and professional. Would definitely visit again.
Great place for a quick snack. The coffee is good quality for a reasonable price. The cakes are delicious and would highly recommend.
