Just popped in for a bit of late lunch and a drink this time. We love this pub and also the restaurant as have eaten there for family occassions over the years. A great place to chill with a pint or to have a lovely meal. The staff are always friendly and welcoming so gets a five from us!
Today my friends and I visited with our 2 babies. We ordered a light lunch and drink as we had just all been swimming. As we sat down & I got my sons jar of food out I was immediately approached by a lovely lady who asked if I would like his good heated! I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised we all were! It was brought out served in a bowl with a spoon as well! What wonderful, considerate staff you have! We will be back again soon and will highly recommend you to all our friends! :)
Fantastic food and a warm welcome despite turning up unexpected. Great service too. Will be returning (will book next time) would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely meal out in a lovely setting. 💕
Fab scampi - came with chunky chips that were to die for and a lovely salad.

We had a private function here last night,what can we say.....the food was excellent,Sue and her staff were amazing,friendly and very accommodating,nothing was too much trouble! We would highly recommend this place to anyone that fancies a relaxed bite to eat for lunch,a delicious eve meal or a private function!

The lamb shank was gorgeous and my hubby wanted the filllet as a sirloin meal, no problem they said, eaten here quite a few times and never been disappointed !! Well worth a visit x
Had a family gathering for an evening meal, food was exceptional and service was excellent. Very enjoyable experience can highly recommend.
Everything about the restaurant was perfect on the two family celebrations we had there plus the other occasions we just wanted somewhere to eat. The menu extensive, the food delicious & the service excellent, would certainly recommend it
Food was fantastic,very good service. we had Sunday lunch and would recommend it and is in a lovely setting.
Went in for a pint. Soon chose our favourites. And then to have freshly cooked food ( fish and chips, lasagne, beef curry etc ) available at excellent prices meant we stopped and used the Bar Snack / Mains menu. Thank you chef, the fish ( cod) was absolutely superb. More like a whale actually. We will be back
My partner and I came here for some food whilst stopping in Cambridge for the night.
We shared a few starters between the two of us - baked camembert, chunky chips, prawn cocktail and garlic bread… there was so much food we were close to bursting. Absolutely delicious! Couldn’t ask for more.
We were served by a lad who was being trained, we think it may have been his first day. The girl training him was very patient and seemed to be a natural at teaching and directing, it was nice hearing her being encouraging and taking the time to explain things to him so he understood. He did really well serving us.
Would definitely return here, and highly recommend. Amazing value for money and great quality.

I had a wonderful evening with my friend, I am gluten & dairy free, which wasn't a problem in fact the chef went the extra mile to adapt the mail. I wanted to be dairy free. The menu has many things which are gluten free. I give it 10 out of 10

We went here for an early evening meal after work, there is a good selection of meals on the menu, and the portions are very large. The young lad that served us was very attentive and helpful. We had the fish pie which was really good and very filling.
Food and service were amazing the pub is beautiful. Would definitely recommend it, especially if you want something special.
AMAZING BURGER!!!! Seriously the best burger I've had in England. The staff was very friendly and the wait time for food wasn't bad at all. I loved the beer garden, especially on a sunny afternoon. I can't wait to return!!
Dinner was amazinggggggggg. We can't wait to come back. Kirsty was beyond amazing she took amazing care of us. The Garlic Bread with the Marmalade was amazing, we ate it so fast we didn't get to take a photo of it. The rest of dinner was beyond fantastic.
We stopped at The White Hart for lunch on our way to Norwich. Easy distance off the A14 in very pleasant surroundings. An old building that has been beautifully modernised. We had 2 of the platters which were extremely generous. The bar and restaurant menu offers a good choice for all tastes.
Excellent Sunday Roast - biggest sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had! Food was good value too in my opinion.
Wow what can I say we had a small wedding meal in the summer room 21 people yesterday it could not have been better, the food was delicious and plenty of it, the staff were great nothing to much trouble and the room was perfect for our small party I cannot give this restaurant enough praise, well done to you all.

Food is excellent, great beer and very friendly staff. Stephen, the landlord runs a first class hostelry. well worth a visit for a restaurant meal, bar snack or a cheeky beer

The Whire Hart was recommended to us by a friend so we thought we would try it and go for lunch. Impressive interior, lovely staff, really really nice food and just a nice place to go for lunch and catch up with friends. Definitely going back again, they do a really nice steak!!
