Not bad at all best when there's something going like artist karoke it's still nice friendly and does the best pint off cidar and black around here consider this to be my local

Welcoming and friendly but it's not a foodie pub. Its a proper local boozer. I was born and brought up in the town, so can't walk in without bumping into old school mates or somebody else I know from my now home town, Ashton. Plenty of surrounding takeaway food as well.
Friendly atmosphere, with sports and pool table.
Love this puby local were I go out meet friends for a nice quiet drink and the landlady and her staff are very nice friendly always love s drink at my local best pub ever

If you want a pint when you are in Golborne library the bad news is that they don't serve beer.Boo! The good news is that you don't have far to go to get to Sir Charles Napier, less books-more Beer! Hurray!
Beer outstanding, unfortunately there were a few lads in who were swearing, but that is unusual, overall a top pub
Best local ever in my lifetime, obviously would not suit everyone but Holts cask is always brilliant.
The boss, the staff and the Holts "live" bitter are among a select few of nature's delights. A real pub with real ale and real people.
