Iv never been to such a fascinating pub ! Such a Wonderful ,Historic and largely unaltered place, Mill Wheels still in place (even if not turning) ,The Mill Race direct behind, under &through the pub itself with glass panels to view..and the stream underneath ,out the ptber side &off up the village makes for the most lovely views. Food was very good-though we only had staters&a sandwich due to time restraints-marvellous selection of Drinks...Real Ale fanatic husband was well pleased..and the scrumptious Hogs Cider for me-if only 1 of us didnt have to drive ! Almost worth moving from The Cotswolds for , I reckon !

First time visiting, so friendly, a pub that is still a pub. Fabulous food, homemade fish finger sandwich which hubby loved, mum had BLT, and I had the camembert, which was delicious. Staff so friendly and very welcoming. Dog friendly. Awesome pub, will definately visit again. Thank you so much for your hospitality

Wow!! I would like to thank the staff at Gomshall Mill for a very scrummy dinner this evening for my daughters 5th birthday food was excellent, our waitress was friendly and attentive and it’s such a lovely place to sit. To top it off, we opened a little envelope which was given to us when we ate in December for my husbands birthday, and it stated they would pay for the whole bill thank you #gomshallmill

Stunnng interior of an old water mill, outside space is splendid too. Outside dining for those summer days and autumnal afternoons when the sun shines and has enough heat to still eat outside and enjoy the surrounds. Staffing level good, staff customer service at the bar very high. Menu has a lot to offer the widest of choice. Overall a highly recommended and for us a definite repeat visit. A little visit to the mill andnhow it would have been is available which is a super treat to round off your first visit

A long over due visit, we had a most pleasant afternoon here yesterday, Sunday 13th May. Very busy, which is always a good sign, the service and staff faultless. The food was superb , top notch roasts, good sizes and nice and hot. Def worth a visit, something on the menu for everyone!! And a nice selection of beers 😁

Had lunch with sisters and cousins yesterday, food was delicious, 'proper food' as I call it, not the food you have to hunt on your plate for, we didn't feel rushed at all, staff were considerate and polite ... 10/10!

From the arrival we were treated like honoured guests. It was busy but the staff spent time on our needs. We were not hurried or delayed. Friendly and discreet staff. Knew when to clear away and when to leave the table undisturbed. The food was beautifully served and delicious. Recommend the cod cheak starter and the samosa that my partner had. Main course of lamb rump needed a better knife. Pink and delicious. My partner's musroom burger was demolished and he commented on how delicous the accompanying fries were. The shared desert was a triumph.

We had booked a table for 9 people to celebrate our son in laws 40 th birthday ! The bar service was very friendly & helpful . In the restaurant the service from your waitress "Bert" was excellent ! She didn't rush or pressure us with our choice in choosing from the menu , she was really patient! The different meals we'd all chosen we're delicious which all came out at once piping hot and nobody had to Wait ! We would certainly recommend it to our friends and hope to visit again soon !

Absolutely beautiful pub. Truly lovely both inside and outside. There are so many section inside and they are all lovely and recently renovated to perfection. The back outdoor sitting is massive with lots of trees, an outdoor bar and lots of tables to enjoy your time at the Gomshall Mill. Lots of choice for all diets. The food is really decision and the customer service is perfect with a very friendly team looking after each and every table. Love it and highly recommend this pub. I really can’t say anything negative about this pub. We sat outside from 6pm - 10pm and really had an amazing time. The perfect little pub for lunch! Gomshall itself is gorgeous but this pub was incredibly warm, inviting - and had its own gluten free menu filled with delights! As someone who really struggles to find decent gluten free options when out and about, the Gomshall Mill is now on the top of my list (and has also been booked for a few upcoming occasions/birthday meals given I was spoilt for choice!)

Very nice location, a mill where the water passes and there is a window where you can see. The interior is very special. Food: I remember having appetizers, burgers and a bottle or two of prosecco. There were three of us.

my favourite country pub! been there may times, the location is very quirky, inside the mill, so whilst you eat you can have a look at the water flowing under you. it makes the atmosphere very calming. the food is incredible - sunday roast cooked to perfection! and the team is lovely and helpful. 100% recommend.

Great decor in the old Gomshall mill. Absolutely delicious meals. If its chilly, a spot by the fire is the best ! Beautiful upstairs as well.

Excellent evening in this very beautiful historic building. The staff were all fantastic and had a very impressive grasp of our preferences, which was not expected but was hugely appreciated. I’m a coeliac, and the extensive gluten-free menu and pink plate policy are so, so welcome - thank you! The food was absolutely delicious. It all combined to create a very special and relaxed experience which we will remember with great happiness.

This place is amazing. We thought is always shut as before there was problem with flooding. But this place is renovated , looks very nice as cosy . You definitely need to come and try. Book in advance. The food is from different planet. Try and you won’t be disappointed..

We sat outside and ordered food from the bar. It was £15.95 for a burger and chips which is average for the area. The food was very good.

This, for me, has taken top spot for dining in the area. A beautiful renovation of the building and garden, everything is quality at a reasonable price. An excellent lunch menu gave a wide choice and the whole staff were delightful in everything they did. Well done and thank you to everyone.

Lovely location, we sat in the garden. Food was excellent (lunch). 1 star dedicated as food took over 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. The service charge was deducted from our bill, but it meant we didn't have time for dessert as we had booked a tour of the silent pool distillery and had to be there at a fixed time. I'd return, and recommend it to friends

Kieran welcomed us and our 3 dogs with warmth. The dogs received treats straight away and my husband our 6 year old daughter and I had a wonderful meal. Outstanding food and such a smart pub.

Place wasn’t that busy when we arrived but most of the tables were already booked, we sat 8n the main bar area ordered drinks and browsed the menu, placed the food and chatted while waiting for the arrival, a few minutes later the starters arrived, however due to the busy evening our mains were delayed, apologies from the restaurant manager who promptly gave us free drinks and choice of pudding. Overall I will be back, it’s a lovely place, staff are so friendly in a pretty village.

Visited the Gomshall Mill Pub beer garden on Saturday with a few friends and our children. We had a superb day eating from the outside menu and enjoying the newly renovated garden space. The children were able to play in the stream (it was super hot!) and also the lovely play equipment. This helped us relax with our friends and the staff were very attentive and helpful. What is a refreshing feature is that the children were able to paddle around in the stream and play without being told off. Obviously as parents it’s our responsibility to supervise and this is what we did. The drinks selection since opening back up was also brilliant. This is my go to pub when entertaining guests from abroad or other parts of the country. Well done!!

Our lovely local pub. The team, food and atmosphere here is top notch. The garden is absolutely the best in Surrey and the Mill itself is stunning. The team are always running events for families and there is music and drink tastings throughout the seasons. So lucky to have this place on our doorstep. The weekend breakfasts are also delicious!
