Looks ;like there was a blip a year or so ago, but my experience on two occasions this week was good. I dropped in one lunchtime and ordered battered sausage and chips. I had to wait five minutes for fresh chips but it was worth it as they were golden crisp and delicious.
Last night after a meeting, I ordered fish and chips for a couple of colleagues on the phone. for 7 pm . They were ready on the dot when I arrived. The fish was good, the batter crispy and the chips were excellent and plenty of them.
It seems they have turned a corner. The only slight glitch costing a star was the polystyrene containers. People expect environmentally friendly packaging nowadays!
Honestly love this chippy. My favourite. I'll happily travel the 20 miles from my home just to have a takeaway from here. Staff are always pleasant and have always got my order spot on. Good value for money too.This is also the only chippy that doesn't upset my stomach. Definitely doing something right!
The best ever! Excellent customer service! The food is outstanding! Fresh ingredients. I have to say (and I'm fussy) BEST CURRY SAUCE EVER!!! 👍
