Excellent cask ale and other beers, plus wines and spirits. Standard reliable Wetherspoons food. Fast service, I was there about 4pm. Pub was warm and reasonably comfortable. Near bus stops and Railway Station.
Well priced selection of food at a good price. We like 'spoons as the outlet has a good range of vegan and vegetarian food. 3 stars because my bangers, chips and beans weren't very hot, but they were very busy!

Really friendly welcome with the smartest waiter.....Cameron that I have ever come across in any Wetherspoons. Manager was so welcoming and introduced us to Sunday's Cash in the box price raffle £1 a try drawn between 7/8 pm with a £250 prize.Food was really good and so value for money!!!! Interior needs a spruce up but overall this is a great place for an inexpensive meal.Highly recommended!!!!!

Less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Overlooks the clock tower. Free WiFi. 2 lots of handpumps. Reasonable choice. 1.99 a pint.
