A very nice area to walk around & bring the family. Dogs are allowed but are to be kept on a lead because the woodland has a small deer population. There's several car parks to choose from. Free parking is available at a small & easily missed area at the south-west end of the park. There are toilets & a café on the west side of the park. Most of the paths are suitable for wheelchair users but not all of them.

Lovely walk, you have to pay £1 by coin, card or phone but is till 17:00. Got there for 8:00 and only really start to see people after 10:00.

Plenty of parking (if main carpark is full, there are others around the oneway circluar). Visitors information and toilet facilities on main carpark. Great views, various sculptures dotted around and a play area. Good paths, it was raining for a few days before but not muddy. Cant advise on wheelchair suitability but did see people out with prams. Dogs welcome. Overall, very enjoyable :)

Lovely place for a walk. Very happy dogs & humans! Main car park costs £1 and we needed the RingGo app to pay (card meter not working).

The best place to build dens, go for awesome walks and get some fresh air. We spend hours here at the weekend, we take a picnic, build a den and follow the awesome sculpture trail. My little girl loves it. There’s also free parking in the smaller car parks on the fell as well as paid parking in the main car park. Take some crayons and paper and do some free rubbings whilst you’re there! It’s a free fun day out.

Been coming here for 50 years. It's changed quite a bit. Lots of trees cut down. Good place for a walk with views over Bleasdale, Morecambe Bay etc. Loads of of paths for the kids to run around and explore. Free toilets and a visitor centre with a cafe. At time of posting the parking is free. It was £1 last time I had to pay.

Such a lovely place to walk the dog. Not the longest of routes but if you go up and down all the little paths and make your own adventures then you can spend a couple hours here no issue. Lovely views. Fun stuff for dogs, like the pond and sticks and good stuff to sniff

Ideal alternative to the Lake District not as far to drive but you can bag a trig point at only 266 meters. Good sculptures like Whinlatter in the lakes but closer.

Great place for a walk or to take the family for a picnic. Car parks on a public holiday can be a little problematic, however there are a number to choose from. The walks are amazing and the wood carvings scattered around are very Interesting. Highly recommended.

Always a lovely place for a walk with family and friends and a picnic. Very popular with families and dog walkers. Good for children as there are many wood carvings to discover amongst the trees, and the ever popular stone snake. The volunteers here work hard to keep the park tidy. The cafe at the visitors centre was still only takeaway when I last visited; but there are tables and benches to sit at. A lot of dog walkers. Plenty of parking. A small fee is required if you park at the visitors centre but there are many other car parks around around the fell. There is. BBQ area on Carwags (the road up from the east side) with a path up to the main part of the Park. There is a one way system around the fell which avoids problems on the single track road. Great views across Parlick, Fairsnape, Bleasdale fell, and out toward Morecambe bay from the summit. Nice easy fell for smaller children to summit before trying harder walks in the Bowland area.
