Brilliant, I was recommended to go there by my son, l registered for a discount on Facebook before I went, they had my card ready when we arrived, it was a Saturday Lunchtime and they had a 50% off special (loads of other offers on different days) the food was cooked fresh we both had Burger with salad & chips the food was plentiful, it was probably the best burger I’ve had, plenty of fries, service was great, I will definitely go back, thank you Gambas, only sorry I didn’t take photos.

Great customer service and very accommodating as we had our new 9 week old daughter with us. For me, 3 things make a great dining experience: the service, the food/menu options/quality and the overall environment. This place ticks all three. Just disappointed with ourselves that we havent been here sooner, given we live less than a mile away! Would highly recommend Either there kebab skewers or the scallops for mains.

We have been down several times to make use of the 50% off on a Wednesday or Thursday. Food was gorgeous and service was friendly. Can be a bit loud at times, as depending on where you're sat there can be a lot of people in one room, but always enjoy the meal and look forward to going again

Me and my mum & 2 kids came to gambas this evening. We had the roast which was amazing. All the meats were soft, the vegetables & potatoes were cooked perfectly and the gravy tasted delicious, they were able to cater for my young daughter who has a dairy allergy. Great value for great tasting food. Portion size was perfect too. All the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s not the first time we’ve ate from here and won’t be the last. Beats Toby Carvery any day.

Last two experiences have been disappointing, attempted to go last Thursday and had a waitress nearly hit me with her car as she hurriedly arrived to open the restaurant later than the stated opening time, was told to come back in half an hour. Won a burger and beer meal for yesterday and food hadn't arrived after nearly 1hr 45 mins, had to sack it off. Not sure what's happened as had a great experience in the winter but based on my last two visits the organisation has gone to pot.

Just had a meal tonight and we were all very disappointed. Luke warm food. Chips dry. Steaks not cooked how we asked. The blue cheese sauce was Luke warm and didn’t taste of blue cheese at all. The onion rings were swimming in grease and cold. We had a bad meal here a few months ago and hoped it had changed so we decided to try again. Will not visit again. The only saving grace was the wonderful lady that served our table. She was friendly, so very helpful and professional. Need to get a new chef.

Great place had the vip table and the food was absolutely delicious! One of our groups steak wasn’t cooked enough and they took it back and replaced it really quickly and were very helpful. Cocktails were amazing and all in all had a great night a really lovely little place to eat and we will all be back :)

Long, long wait for food.
We booked a table for a family meal where upon taking our order we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait for food as there were 2 large tables booked for the same time. We actually waited over 70 minutes for it to eventually be served (just 3 burgers and a chicken kebab). my husbands burger was missing the cheese and there was some stuff off the menu too which was disappointing. My first time visiting and i won’t bother going back.

Food great, service wasn’t the best and some bad attitude staff who didn’t want to help. Lauren was fantastic and worth her weight in gold. 10/10!!! Would only revisit if she was there! Thanks Lauren 😘

Tiny portions-hanging kebabs cold-steak burnt to a crisp, long wait for a disastrous meal, still felt hungry when we left and a bad taste in mouths. Couldn’t fault the staff as were very understanding and accommodating when we complained but unfortunately will not be going back.
