We popped in here due to the heavy rain today with my two dogs and family. We were informed the cafe was dog friendly so could sit outside or inside.
You have to order at the counter, but food is served to you. We asked for the table to be cleaned, which staff did straightaway.
I had jacket potatoes
Called in here for take away fish and chips. Really great tasting food and good service. Reasonable price too

Went for a stroll along Marine Parade and ended up here. Chatting to a local who drives 5 miles past 3 other chippies so I thought I'd give the takeaway side a try. It was really busy despite it being 12 on a Monday, but it's worth the wait as everything is cooked fresh to order. The fish was fresh,
So lovely to see an old face behind the chip shop! The difference in the food is very noticeable and has improved 10 fold. The chips and the batter are like it was years ago. Very happy with my cod and chips today.

Great traditional cafe by the beach with plenty of indoor and outdoor scene does get extremely busy so would recommend getting there early as parking can sometimes be slightly difficult but the food staff were great is one of my local places to go to for a weekend day trip out even if just passing b
