Casa San Lorenzo - Gosforth - Photo album

Visited Wednesday afternoon. Warmly welcomed as always and able to choose our table (which we always prefer). Service attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Food was excellent. Freshly prepared and well presented. We ordered off the main menu rather than the special. It still offers great v
Four stars is right. I liked it, a good local restaurant and a good choice for a meal out in Gosforth. The service from dealing with them on the phone, the welcome, the ordering and the bill was good. Polite, attentive but not intrusive. The food was good. The bread was nice enough as were the oliv
Great vegan options, with friendly staff ! Food was delicious and would go back again. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is they had no vegan wine, but at least they had beer. Still would of been nice to have a glass of wine 🙂
Absolutely delicious pizza, really good value for money & Service was super speedy. The only downside was our confusion over the menu that was on offer…. Quite limited options & not a main menu full of starters, mains, sides etc… so we only had a choice of 5 pizzas or 5 pastas for mains as didn’t w
I was dining alone but was made to feel so welcome and comfortable! The owner is hilarious and seems to be such a kind, genuine and happy man. Thank you ALL for wonderful service and fabulously delicious food!!!
Anniversary surprise from the boyfriend. Fantastic atmosphere, food was amazing and social distancing in place with all staff being careful, attentive and helpful all the time!
What a find. Gorgeous food, great ambience, brilliant service and really good prices. I wish you were in my hometown instead of Gosforth.
I had a lovely lunch today. Thanks for the speedy service and freshly prepared food. I will definitely come back again.
Really nice food and cocktails. Service was good. We didn't wait long for food. Will definitely come back
There are at least a half dozen coffee shops on Gosforth High Street. If you a caffeine aficionado, this is the one. The white Americano is one of the best in Newcastle. Not only that, you can drink wine, beer or cocktails and eat good food in this well designed ristorante, which has a warm atmosph
Food was lovely and arrived promptly. An error in the order was swiftly corrected. Staff were friendly and attentive and the place has a comfortable upmarket feel. Only gripe would be that we were there quite early (7pm) and they’d already run out of sirloin steak and tiramisu which seemed odd.
The place looks great. Food is always really nice. Plenty choice for everyone. Also really inexpensive so can't fault it at all.
Good value great service from friendly staff pics show calzoni pizza and sunday roast
Had a family meal for five on Saturday 8th April 2023, found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, food quality excellent with generous portion sizes - we were very impressed! Popular place, suggest book well ahead for peak times on weekends. Can highly recommend.
Been here twice over 2 years and each time the food was amazing. Even the simplest of dishes are perfect. Kids meals are big as well. Really love the food and I'm not that much of an Italian foodie cos most places are bland. Not so with this. Every dish looks amazing and every bite hits the spot. Pr
Very nice meal with good service and fairly busy. Prices about right for the quality and some good cocktails on offer. Again reasonably priced. Will go again.
