The Nest is immaculate, very clean and beautifully decorated and is also dog friendly!
The staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. Going above and beyond when we had a problem with our order.
The food was delicious, well presented and the menu is varied.
Highly recommended and we will be returning very soon.

Visited the falcons nest for the first time today for me and my wife on our wedding anniversary ,a friend recommended this place and it was a really nice decision to go. Lovely staff(Natalie) big shout out to Nathan the chef food was lovely, my wife had the fish n chips and I had the patisserie chicken ,for pudding I had the Honey pot desert and OMG .. my wife had the creme brulee

Amazing breakfast here. Very friendly staff, we were served by the lovely Vaso and our amazing eggs Benedict was cooked by the chef matty bone! Highly recommended 🙌 will definitely be back !! X

Myself, my wife and our Labrador Leo visited on Friday lunchtime for a birthday lunch. My wife mentioned when booking that it was for my birthday and there was a couple of Happy Birthday signs on and around the table which was a very nice touch.
We were served by Alex & Vas and they were extremely friendly throughout and nothing was too much hassle. Leo also got lots of attention which he was a huge fan of and we really appreciated the great service.
I had the beef brisket sandwich and my wife had the steak pie. The sandwich was off the lunch menu and was a good size with plenty of brisket in the sandwich which was tender and tasty. The beef dripping sauce packed in a lot of flavour and I’d definitely recommend for a good value lunch meal. My wife’s portion looked good and hefty which would fill most and she was very happy with the pastry encasing the pie as elsewhere you often just get the crust on top of the pie which I always see as a slight cop out. We also got some halloumi fries which were crispy and very well cooked with a flavoursome chilli relish which I’d definitely have again. All cooked very well by Jason & Michael.
Unfortunately I was running the Blaydon Race later that day, so couldn’t push the boat out for any desserts but I’ll definitely make the effort next time. Leo was a big fan of the dog biscuits, so we’ll have to head back very soon to keep him happy!

Great breakfast on a Sunday morning- Pancakes were amazing, we loved the atmosphere within the pub, Vaso was extremely kind and welcoming, we had a good laugh with her. I definitely recommend, we will be back again for sure!

Even though we arrived on a quiz night (not our thing) the staff manaed to get us seated, (we had no reservation) for our weekly catch up. Staff super friendly and helpful. Now the big thing to mention... the pizza's here are superb!! Keep up the good work!!

Nice refurbishment, all the staff were very welcoming and great service. We had the sharing platter, duck pizza and holloumi fries all which were very tasty. Definitely recommend.

We booked a table on a busy Friday night, the drinks were a little slow to arrive but that was to be expected with the high volume of people enjoying a drink on a beautiful sunny night. All dishes arrived piping hot, perfectly cooked and were really tasty! The staff were extremely friendly, our waitress Danielle was very pleasant and helpful, a great asset to the team. We had a great experience and would definitely return.

Called on the off chance of a table last night and luckily there was! The food was excellent! Chef Matthew - you did a great job! The aubergine dish was very tasty and I really enjoyed my sea bass. We were looked after by very friendly staff, including Danielle and that all contributed to a lovely evening! Thanks folks!

Our host Vaso (I think her name was) was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond our expectations, there’s always a time someone will go out of their way when they have a bad experience to slate the place they went to however this is the complete opposite.
She was very friendly and attentive and she even went out of her way to gift myself with a birthday card as I had been celebrating my 30th birthday!
10/10 just wish I lived closer to make my visit a regular occurrence.

Went here for Sunday lunch after hearing some really good things. Lived up to the reputation. Food was absolutely outstanding. And the service was second to none. The host was very welcoming and quickly showed us to our table. Our server Joel was extremely polite and friendly and vert attentive and accommodating with all requests we made. Food was served promptly and was piping hot. Veg was cooked to perfection and all 3 meats were beautiful. After lunch we sat in the beer garden which was very nice with lots of seating. Carpark has ample spaces so you never struggle for a space even at busier times.

I found the Falcons Nest to be a friendly, comfortable place to eat and to have a meal! The beer is well kept and good value! The staff are friendly and helpful even when presented with a stroppy three year old!
The meal was excellent in the main but I did find the chips not very hot and a little underdone! The steak however was perfectly cooked and very tasty! Others in the party also praised their meals and the service!
I will be returning in the future.

A bit disappointed, from a chef's perspective, on the limited choice of vegetarian options (ie Hobson's Choice) on the Sunday lunch menu. The veg was lukewarm & served on cool plates (cool as in not warm, not groovy cool). Fair goes, 2 veggie starters but butternut squash seems to be the only dish that is available nowadays for a main. One can get a bit sick of the same old thing, no matter how many various methods it's served. So it's not just the chains (but is mainly).

Sunday Roast - Gammon not pork as advertised. The potatoes had a funny outer taste and were raw in the middle as were the parsnips and carrots. Turkey and cabbage were nice but left ÂŁ50 down and we were all starving
