Incredible restaurant we visited in August 2023. They catered for us as a last minute booking and even though we were late, the food, service and value was incredible.
The food was all fresh, all you can eat, but ordered to your table so it was outstanding. I ordered duck for one - it was HUGE! My friend was allergic to diary and VIRGINIA our server was so attentive, she even checked the oil the food was fried in in case in upset my friend’s stomach.
You HAVE to visit here - it is incredible!
Absolutely amazing, was here celebrating my birthday. Food was delicious and plentiful, it was all you can eat and they come to you, so no need to queue up buffet style and it was brought to your table piping hot. Definitely would recommend 100%
Fantastic location right on the front with lovely views of the Spinnaker and Gunwharf. Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable. The menu is an all you can eat buffet but presented in a unique way - you order dishes with portions based on the amount of people who wish to try and can only order again once everything has been finished to avoid waste. The portions are perfect and there are so many dishes to try - personal favourites include chicken and green pepper in a black bean, satay chicken and garlic mushrooms. Party of 6 tried a variety of different dishes and all went down a treat. Thoroughly recommend, will definitely be returning.
I was surprised by my partner when we had dinner here at Great Wall. Being asian, I can attest that this is an awesome Chinese restaurant.
I love buffets and so its an all you can eat.
We mainly had most of the starters which were all so lovely. My favorite is the salt and chili pork ribs. Very tasty fall of the bone goodness.
I also love the crispy seaweed and I know I can add it onto anything and it would taste good. The texture and the umami flavor was amazing.
I had the duck wraps. The hoisin and the vegetables played a great role blending with the duck which made the wrap very succulent.
This restaurant has a very lovely view of portsmouth harbour and the owners and servers were very attentive and very prompt.
They take cards and cashm.
They have a loo.
If you can make reservations but we managed to be the second group to go in as we did a walk in as soon as it opened and not too bad for a weekday.

It was a beautiful evening so we decided to have takeaway rather than sit in the restaurant.. food was yummy. My husband and I were pleased with what we both ordered.. staff were so nice, chatty, friendly and helpful.. definitely recommend here.
A good meal, the noodles were not very hot. Starters were good. Service was good. Was disappointed when I saw the food hygiene rating was a 1, that's really quite bad! I hope you are working hard to improve this.
Food was excellent and plenty of. Service was very good even though it was very busy. Portions may look small, but you are able to order as many times as you want. Great selection of starters and main courses, meat, poultry, and seafood. Just short of £20 per head, but if you have a good appetite, you'll get your money's worth. Look forward to our next visit.
A really good Chinese restaurant, great food with fantastic service, exceeded every expectation.
I doubt the food will win awards, i say this with love. But it was awesome, hot and flavourful.
The service is amazing. Everyone with a smile on their face and wanting to please at every turn.
Some may say its expensive, just over 20 quid at the weekend for an adult "all you can eat", 100% worth it.

Tasty, all dishes are straight out from the kitchen rather than laid out as a buffet. Visited with a group of us it and was nice to be able to try a few different starters and mains from the buffet list and share. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend booking as gets very busy. Pretty view of the spinnaker tower from most of the tables. I'd say the only thing would be that it could have a makeover to improve it.
Come here regularly, not one bad meal from this place and staff are really nice.
