Darcey's Tearoom - Gosport - Photo album

Wonderful little cafe in Alverstoke village. Have visited twice in recent weeks, once for lunch with a friend ( highly recommend the Welsh Rarebit) and then for afternoon tea. My friends had the afternoon tea with sandwiches, cake and scones plus tea, I had the cream tea and other friends had panini
Always 1sr choice for a cheeky cake and coffee with friends. Local and absolutely fabulous cakes. But the cheese on toast or Welsh rarebit is the best so never have enough room for cake one day !
Loved the rarebit and salad and lovely pot of loose tea... and the top up of water. Very nice ambience even on a snowy day and rather empty, lovely attentive service. My only disappointment is the 'tea' cups, which are 'coffee' cups.
The best place for cake and coffee/ tea. Would not go elsewhere. Little play area for my 2 year old comes very handy. Very friendly and efficient staff.
Lovely coffee cakes and friendly service. Dog friendly too which is just lovely for me. A great little place to visit.
Lovely atmosphere. Cosy and gentle with great hot chocolate. Table service in a tea room added to the experience.
Change of owners but retained most of the charm. Looking forward to trying the Alice in wonderland inspired special when next available.
Good coffee and the cakes looked delicious but we didn't try them on this occasion.
Good quality home made cakes, nice coffee and very nice atmosphere, highly recommend it
