Came down tonight from the adjacent Lodge park for dinner. The hosts (sorry I'm terrible at remembering names. Pavel and Karensa?) Were very welcoming, helpful and cheerful.
My husband and I both had the Dart Farm burger and fries, and oh my goodness its such good value for money and probably my favourite burger I have tasted ever. Not to mention the generous portion size and really nice side salad to go with.
We both liked the sound of the chocolate brownie for dessert, but could only just manage one to share. Which was plenty as it was and just as delicious.
Very reasonably priced as well and a pleasant meal out. I just wish this wasn't just a holiday and that we lived closer to visit time and time again. Thank you :)

Booked a table for a Roast sunday lunch.
There was alot of choice in regards as to which meat and also some vegetarian options.
The food was good and the staff were lovely.
Dropped in on our way back to Cornwall at teatime today. My husband and I both ordered the roast. It was really good and very tasty. We both ordered dessert they were gorgeous. The meal was outstanding. The barman was very helpful and friendly too.
Such a friendly welcoming pub with very polite staff definitely will be coming back. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There’s a lovely outdoor area to sit and a park to keep the children entertained. It’s also dog and family friendly which is great. 100% recommend
First time trying and was great. Food looked amazing, little mess up with the order but quickly rectified and the man who delivered the food noticed the mistake when bringing food to the table and already said about bringing us out our original request seperately at no extra charge.
Would have been 5 stars but I'm guessing the manager (woman wearing red t-shirt) let the side down when another customer complained about a pizza, then proceeded to go around the corner and made a rude gesture to another colleague about the complaint.
We all know it happens, but wait until you're out of sight of the other customers and in back of house areas.
The food was fantastic, however, and the male and female who served me were absolutely amazing and fantastic customer service, definitely a credit to your establishment. The second male with his arms crossed was a little bit colder and univiting.
Overall - pleasant experience, and we will be back.
Staying in the lodges, the staff here are so friendly, always a warm welcome. Dog friendly, good food but most of all a great service from the staff👍

Marvellous country pub. Situated outside Okehampton with views of Dartmoor. Very convenient for a visit to Meldon Reservoir. The food was excellent and the service was too
So impressed with this place not only have they got the idlic surroundings the staff here will go above and beyond! My son has numerous food allergies and they made us feel so comfortable and reassured.highly recommended!!!
