How big is this place and how great is the merchandise. Really is a great place with lots of well known brands spread over two huge floors. Although I will say directions/signs from the A1, not the best.

Lovely place to visit with a range of different items. If you have time I recommend the cafe upstairs. The food is delicious and a nice piece of cake with a great view out of the window.

Huge variety of products including locally sourced food and we'll priced books and art supplies. Area for children to actually do crafts. Spacious cafe on 1st floor quieter than in main building with good variety of cakes. Much better than just stopping at a service station.

Garden centre is huge and well stocked. The restaurant area is huge too with comfortable seating, delicious scones and friendly, helpful staff. A great place to stop off if travelling on the A1.

Nice garden centre, especially for all the extra items for your garden. The cafe here is also a great place to stop for refreshment if you're using the A1 during store hours.
The garden centre has tranformed a lot in recent years, with more of the store being actively used. The ranges are wide with different budgets catered for. Many items I've not seen elsewhere. The range of house plants seems to gave grown, as well as non garden items (like most 'garden centres').
One thing to note for the cafe if you need to find a table & then order. If you don't enter via the main central area, you miss the signs & then the process is ambiguous due to lack of other signage. It's also vague how to stop someone else taking the table whilst you order. The area is nice & open with a mix of table sizes or comfy chairs.
If you have more time, there also the main Downtown store for clothes & other houhold goods.

Garden Centre isn't anything special, plenty of space and staff to do much more which is a shame to see, especially as I work in the trade. Poor staff in Dowtown had a flood through the ceiling to deal with near the nice furniture but we're all friendly and able to laugh about it. Garden Centre restaurant is dog friendly. Decent food and pleasant staff. Worth a stop if you are travelling along the A1.

Lovely day out at this place. The Christmas selection is lovely to walk around and really gets you into the Christmas spirit. The selection of gifts is really lovely too!! Definitely worth a visit. Nice cafe for a coffee and some lunch. Good value.
