Lovely folk, terrific coffee and the best cinnamon buns I have had in my life. Great place to have breakfast before starting out on the hills and if you bring your own cup you save 25 pence.

Lovely breakfast when we went recently. Very tasty! The homemade beans, tomato sauce and sour dough bread is a great touch

Lovely bakery with excellent coffee and brownies. Good mix of bread, savory and cakes on display. Took a loaf of sourdough bread home which was very nice too

Called in for bite of lunch on a winter's day. There's nothing quite like freshly baked sausage rolls and scones, especially when accompanied by a very nice cup of coffee.

Sausage rolls are strongly recommended, as are the pain au chocolats. Coffee is also excellent. Strongly recommended

This is a fantastic place for lunch and also for take aways. We pre-ordered sausage rolls and cakes for a party over Christmas. All terrific.

We have been to Lucia’s Bakehouse before and grabbed their delicious pastries and sandwiches but it was our first visit to their coffee house at the weekend. What a great little place! Me and my hubby both had the homemade baked beans with sourdough, they were delicious! Coffee was the best we had all weekend in the Lakes and we took away a few sweet treats and a pastry to take on our long hike the following day which were yummy, will definitely be back!

Just popped into the smaller building just around the corner for a take away latte and cinnamon bun. Lovely

Stopped off here whilst out walking last weekend, what a find! Tiny little shop front with a mouth watering display in the window, we couldn't walk past! Foccacia with goats cheese, red onions and roasted peppers for mum and I and a delicious sausage roll for my friend. Just wow! So good we went back for 2nd's! You must stop off here, just delightful!

During our week in Grasmere we regularly bought excellent coffee and croissants and pains au chocolat for breakfast at Lucia's - freshly baked and delicious. The bars to take away with chocolate and other delicious ingredients are highly calorific and perfect for long hikes on the fells. A great place.

The best smashed avo in Grasmere - or maybe the Lakes! Super cute place. Apparentlynot been open very long (6 weeks or so) but the chef is fab and we came for two breakfasts on the trot as it was so good. And we were in our own rented house. Lovely cappuccino too. Make sure you visit.

Lucia’s is an incredible find in Grasmere, we came back 3 times in the space of a day to top up on coffees and pastry’s as we strolled around the village. I absolutely love the variety and choice of sausage rolls, and the cinnamon bun was probably the best I’ve ever had. Incredibly well priced for a small local bakery, and super nice service. Next time I am in the UK I will definitely make the effort to come back!

What a mistake we made coming here! What was meant to be an hour stop turned into most of our day. After sampling the sausage rolls (3 varieties) we moved onto their cinnamon buns, ginger cake, back to a sausage roll, two coffees inbetween, saw a brownie so got that, our eyes flirted with more pastry goods before we finished on a scone. The staff were lovely and put up with our terrible humour as we ordered the next round of delicious goods. As I write this with my coat on ready to leave, one of our party has now ordered the soup and sour dough... Guess I'll have one more flat white then.

Paid a quick visit for a cup of decent coffee. However, spent way too long trying to decide on a bite to eat as everything set out on the counter looked absolutely fabulous. However, we settled on a cheese and mustard scone which was served with small pots of butter, chutney and grated cheese. The coffee and the scone were very, very good and we left only disappointed that we couldn't try more. The shop itself seemed quite small, with most of the space taken up with one large table with benches either side. Staff were very friendly.

If you can....stop in on your way out of town from some fresh baked sourdough bread. We were stepping off from another day on the C2C and spotted this bakery; so grateful that they were open. Best bread we had had to date. It did not make it to Patterdale.

The best sausage rolls, wonderful rolls for a long day walking, tasty cakes and pastries (try the natas and raspberry blondies)! This is one of my favourite places ever!

First visit to their new premises, pastries lovely as usual, followed by enormous scones, very tasty indeed. Yes as previous poster stated they do not have a large range, however what they do bake and sell is top quality. This is a small independent bakehouse, not greggs!! Of course we will be returning as usual.

It looked good from the outside, however though it was lunchtime they didn’t do sandwiches and sent us around the corner to the take away but they had run out of sandwiches. We had a pasty and a sausage roll which were quite tasty but that was all they had in savouries. They need to expand their menu and make sure they don’t run out by 12.30. If they did these things it would be a good place for lunch.

Popped into this cute little place for a quick sandwich. It was so good, we are going back to buy more for our walk tomorrow. Fresh and delicious and so reasonably priced compared to many places in the lake district. Great!
