Absolutely amazing food! We loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great wines and the food was top notch! Had the special mushroom & truffle tortellini starter, hubby the cod, then lamb stew and chicken. Everything was so tasty! Would highly recommend any day of the week! A great find!
Visited during a girls birthday celebration weekend. Just wow 🤩 Service was personal and attentive without being intrusive. Cosy atmosphere welcoming of walkers and celebratory guests alike. Amazing restaurant, food, and staff. Every time we visit Grasmere we visit here. The only gripe I have is that this fantastic restaurant isn’t open more days of the week. We will be back soon - thank you.

Were to start… perhaps the ambiance . The name says it all, an eclectic mixed decor, colour and texture abounds, almost recklessly- but it works so very well. The host, genial and full of joi d’vivre… a real pleasure. The Negroni aperitif served with Balsamic vinegar was delightful.
