Baldry's Tea Room - Grasmere - Photo album

We visited Baldry’s Tea Room 11, October 2023. The ambiance is clean and fitting for Grasmere. The menu choices are breakfast and lighter fare, yet the quality is apparent. Excellent service, but not rushed. The staff are pleasant and happy. We both ordered the Butternut Squash Soup with honey
Popped into the tearoom during the downpour. We were lucky to have seats when the rain just started. The custard is amazing. Smooth and eggy but not too sweet or too heavy. The bread itself has a little too much syrup in comparison. I’d be satisfied with some sourdough… The tea selection is quite
Absolutely beautiful!! Minor issue but that was sorted quickly and professionally. Thank you for for going above and beyond. Your gesture was greatly appreciated. The tea and the scones were amazing! Definitely value for money!! We'll definitely be back when we visit this beautiful part of the coun
We managed four visits here during a very busy week in the Lake District - that's how good this place is. The food and cakes are fresh, tasty and portions are extremely generous. Our last visit for lunch included the soup, egg mayo sandwich, beans and cheese on the nicest toast, and smoked salmon &
This is such a lovely tea room! The staff couldn't be more helpful, lovely or accommodating! We decided to visit for the first time when driving through Grasmere on our way to our minimoon! The latte was really good (believe me, we've tried a lot of lattes in a lot of cafes!) and this was deliciou
Very nice spot to stop off with good friendly service. Nice to sit out the front under the canopy and watch everything going on in Grasmere. Coffee and cake is good. Tea seems to be their speciality and there are loads of variants on the menu.
It can be a bit tricky to find a lunch spot in Grasmere in the summer. Planned to go somewhere else but tried Baldry's and was not disappointed. The soup - parsnip and ginger was exactly what I needed after a hike from Ambleside on a rainy day. Deli sandwich was tasty too. They have a nice selection
Wonderful cafe with such good food! Every time we visit it never fails to disappoint. We always come away happy. The dairy free brownie was a decent size, warm, delicious and went beautifully with the oat latte! We will be back to sample the orange drizzle cake very soon.
At Baldry's is where we had the best tea in the lake district. Great atmosphere and friendly service. The food we ordered was so fresh and tasted wonderful! Would definitely recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Grasmere.
Great food, service and lovely surroundings sat outside. Properly homemade quiche & Baldry's stack using quality ingredients. Nice Friendly service from Abby.
