Lovely lunch at Mathilde's on a Monday. Sun was shining view was lovely staff were friendly and lots of choice for food. I had a flat white and a miso hazelnut cake slice. They both were very good. I have no idea about their food, but I would recommend the place for the bakes and coffee for sure.

Everything here is excellent. I even ordered a salad (unheard of, feels like a missed opportunity for something greater) and I was really happy with it. Open faced sandwich was also a joy (everything on it was playing a part and it was a delight according to the eater!), as was the soup.

Wonderful cafe, great menu and a well stocked cake counter. Would recommend trying the hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows and anything that comes with pickles! Service is always friendly and efficient, even when busy. The gallery and shop are also beautifully curated and well worth a visit.
