Last minute decision to go here and we wasn't disappointed. Beautiful location, Victoria was great booking us in and friendly. On arrival scones and tea no extra charge ,help yourself in the small kitchen area. Breakfast booked and again didn't disappoint, bedroom was nicely decorated and a great location. Unsure I would pay 180 for night but worth the 130 last minute booking. I would recommend staying there .

Victoria was exceptional. She made us feel very welcome and any question or request we had was met with open arms. Having breakfast on the outside terrace with the ducks was one of our many favourite things to do at the hotel. The scones and clotted cream/jam were delicious and a lovely daily treat. I would definitely recommend the Bridge House Hotel in Grasmere.

Fantastic hotel and staff . (Sarah was very helpful) as where all the staff. The staff should be complimented on their attention to detail. Nothing was too much for them. Bfast was cooked as you ordered, and there was a wide selection on the bfast menu. Tea and afternoon scones were available throughout the day, a welcome treat after a long climb or walk in the hills. Parking was pre designated and had good access. A very relaxing and wonderful hotel. The three course meal in the sister hotel a 5 min walk from the (Bridge house )l was exceptional.

Our recent visit to the Bridge House was our 2nd and will definitely not be our last. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Dedicated car park space was a blessing. Great location in the middle of Grasmere. Breakfast was freshly made, plentiful and delicious. Free teas, coffees and scones available for guests, this was a treat to look forward to after being out in our unfortunately typical English damp weather. Takeaway selection available from a sister hotel, this was lovely to have and eat in the heated conservatory. Lovely large bedrooms, well equipped and luxurious complimentary toiletries. We had a room beside the river which I loved, this was actually quite loud as it was in full flow, could be heard with the windows closed so could bother some people, our previous visit we stayed on the opposite side of the hotel which was much quieter. Whilst the hotel was a little more expensive than we are used to, the extras made it worthwhile and will be our first choice when we next visit The Lake District.

Bridge House Hotel in Grasmere is an absolute gem deserving of a solid 5-star review! Our stay at this charming establishment was nothing short of delightful. We had the pleasure of staying in room 404, a small and cozy haven that radiated warmth and comfort. Impeccably clean and well-maintained, it provided the perfect retreat after a day exploring the picturesque surroundings. The staff at Bridge House Hotel were a true highlight of our visit. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Their willingness to assist and their attention to detail truly elevated our stay. The breakfast experience was another standout feature. With a wide array of options to choose from, breakfast felt like a special occasion each morning. The fact that it was made fresh to order added that extra touch of excellence. In the heart of Grasmere, this hotel boasts not only a prime location but also an undeniable charm that resonates throughout. Bridge House Hotel has certainly left a lasting impression on us, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a beautiful, comfortable, and hospitable retreat in the Lake District. Five stars, no question about it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Room was great with a cute brook running along it, and the meals were very good. It was lovely to get a little afternoon tea. Very clean, easy parking, and in a very cute location. I've given it only 4 stars as we weren't treated as warm compared to some other guest groups we saw, but the service was still good (id give 4 1/2 if possible, but that did stand out enough to mention). Overall though I'd definitely recommend.

I love staying here when visiting Grasmere. Such a great central location and walking distance to all the shops and pubs. This is an adult only hotel but sadly no dogs are allowed. The breakfast is perfect and free tea, coffee and scones are available to all residents between 12pm-6pm. There are two electric car spaces and one parking space per room. The staff are so friendly and helpful if you need any walking recommendations. The bathrooms are gorgeous and look like they have been newly renovated. The bedrooms have the most comfy beds and the black out curtains insure a good night sleep in the summer months.

Lovely hotel in centre of Grasmere. The room wasn't very big and didn't like the colour scheme of grey which made it quite dark. Very clean and comfortable though. Main drawback was having to walk to sister hotel for dinner. It was really dark on way home and we got completely lost and cdn't find anyone to ask. Breakfast was in the main hotel and very good.

Wonderful location, right on the river. We had a room overlooking it, with the sound of trickling water and playful .ducks as our backdrop. Very friendly, always willing to help staff, is a great plus. Breakfast is excellent and varied, with good choice. The offer of free tea, scones, and pastries in the afternoon is super 👌. And we found the hotel is great value for money too. Highly recommended and particularly for the surroundings and friendly service and little extras. Compared to its sister hotel, the Inn, it is miles ahead (in addition, the inn seems noisy, and has a poor pool and sauna facility there...lacking showers, no etiquette for the sauna, poor cleanliness...don't bother)

6 Stars! The team went above and beyond for us to accommodate a super late check-in due to flight times and a last minute request to extend our stay. The whole experience was unfaultable. Breakfast was delicious, local tips and advice was on point and the room was exactly as we'd hoped. Keep up the great work team!!

Very delighted with our stay here. We stayed for three nights and everything from the service to breakfast was nice. They even accommodated an early check-in and we could safe-keep our luggage for a few hours after checkout. Breakfast was great and the location was right in the middle of Grasmere.

Delightful 4 nights here. Spotlessly clean, excellent bathroom, friendly professional service, very good breakfast - top quality ingredients. Big plus is the complimentary cream tea and plenty of comfortable spaces in which to enjoy it. My favourite spot is the Duck Terrace.

Brilliant hotel. Great location, lovely rooms, best staff I have ever experienced - friendly, helpful and efficient. Get a personal parking space at the hotel for your whole stay, which is like gold dust in the Lake District. Breakfast had a great range of options and the hot food was cooked to order.
