The Retreat Tearoom & Bistro - Grassington - Photo album

A small cozy cafe, with an interesting menu. Toasted Banana bread and few other interesting items. Food was really good. Would definitely come back when I return. So thoughtful they had booster chair for toddler too.
100% recommend. I visited multiple times during a short break staying in the area. Great vegan options. I was sold on my first visit when I saw four different vegan cakes were available! Breakfast, lunch and snack options are great, and the staff are really lovely. Had a good natter, and even recomm
It’s ok. The menu was a bit limited. Food was decent. Fresh orange juice is not fresh unfortunately. That is a real pet hate when people advertise it as such and then you are confronted with stuff from concentrate. Coffee was average.
Food was great- lots of veggie and vegan options. Very quant cafe situated in Grassington. Would definitely visit again.
Excellent venue for a nice lunch. The food is really tasty and fresh. There are plenty of choices of gluten-free and vegetarian food on the menu. The homemade vegetable soup, bacon ciabatta, and the sweet potato fries with thyme were all delicious 😋
Tasty coffee. Nice, strong espresso and good cortado. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The cake selection was good and the chocolate fudge cake and raspberry Victoria slice were delicious. However, I think the £4.20 and £4 price for these was high.
So love this cafe. I go every week with my little 'charge'? Its the highlight of our week ! Brilliant owners who offer a professional and personal service ! Always a treat, thank you.
The Retreat tearoom and bistro has a particular charm that invites you in. I ordered 3 eggs omelette with cheddar, ham and spinach, fruit scone with jam and cream, coffee. They were all delicious and fresh. The staff is friendly, efficient and polite.
Love this place. Regular visitors for super-luxury hot chocolate, sweet potato fries with chilli jam. Being able to take the dog is an added bonus. The small, secret garden at the back is wonderful in summer. If I could change one thing, I’d make the place a little warmer in winter.
An absolute gem of a place. A group of us popped in after a long walk a few weeks ago, looking for a well deserved rest & afternoon tea. A warm welcome, wonderful scones & fantastic service greeted us..can't rate this cafe highly enough & a special thank you to the waiting staff who were so attentiv
