I've been blessed by Subie's food for some time but am just getting around to writing this review. Why? Saturday I had calaloo rice with his (cooked to order) stew peas complete with spinners dumplings! It was flavourful, seasoned beautifully, nutritious (nutuonional yeast was one of the ingredients) - and he even moderated the chilli down for me🙌🏾. My stomach & body thanks him & and the lovely Debbie. Repeatedly, fabulous service.
This was not a one-off either. The curry dish, jerk burger, Ackee, red rice - oh, and hominy corn porridge (when he makes it), are equally deeeelish! I once encountered one of his customers who had ordered the porridge in bulk! Gwaaaan tru!

The owner was really friendly and attentive.
The Jerk burger was amazing the burger was succulent and the Jerk sauce was to die for an explosion of flavours in my mouth.

Wow! Just wow! What a beautiful little gem! As a South Londoner, I did not expect to find a vegan Caribbean in Gravesend. Let alone the quality and the service of the food. Just wow. Beautiful food, beautiful people. A must try. Value for money also.

Absolutely fabulous food and experience. We tried 5 different dishes, trusting the chef to steer us right. Each of them was so tasty. Will definitely be returning soon to explore more of the food on offer 😊
