Didn't get off to the best start, stood at the bar to order for 5 minutes before someone served us. Then walked through to the restaurant side of the pub to be waiting again for another 5 minutes to be served food, all this even after the staff saw us waiting. The place was empty at 6pm on a Tuesda
Went there with the family after many years so didn't quite know what to expect. Josh who took our order was so pleasant, happy vibes and really made us feel welcome. The service was good. The carvery was ok.. I've definitely had it from here before where it tasted much better, it took quite a while

Maybe it was just the time that we all went up to get our food, but everything was cooked really nicely and absolutely nothing was either over or under cooked or cold. I'm not a huge fan of carveries but I have to make an exception in this case as
Had a roast dinner via a “Too good to go” app. Really like this idea not to waste food and the price is affordable. Like. Surprisingly the food was still warm when we picked it up and if there was gravy to go with it, it would be perfect! Most importantly, this dinner was enough for 2 people. Like.
Went for some breakfast and it was very delicious even better that it’s an all you can eat. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. Pricing is very good for both food and drinks. Will definitely be coming back to try their carvery. Would recommend.
The meat was delicious, had roast beef, gammon and turkey. Stuffing yummy and all sorts of vegetables very good.
Went Monday 8th Dec at lunch time for the first time. Excellent selection of food made it hard to choose and smelling the carvery made it harder. Food came out perfect with generous portions. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. I will be returning soon.
