Couldn't get a table for lunch so opted for the 'bar snack' menu
£5.95 for a sausage roll you had to look for on the plate and was barely two bites is a bit much, not even any salad garnish. And as for serving 12 chips as a portion, that's just insulting. Had to go home and cook something else to finish lunch off....
Very busy pub with a nice log fire just what you need on a chilly night. Good choice off of beer and ales did not try the wine. Cosy village pub with good service and friendly staff.
