Stopped off for a quick burger around 7pm on a Friday and were very pleased with our impromptu dinner. Staff were lovely and since the restaurant was full we were offered an alternative place to sit outside. When an indoor table cancelled we were given the option to move indoors. Much appreciated!

As a family group of 7 we booked a sunday dinner. Warm and welcoming staff, reasonab;y priced and a very nice sunday roast indeed! Good size portions and delicious! We will visit again :)

So, it's a mixture between a local pub, a smart pub and a lovely restaurant.

We are in here last Sunday lunchtime and the food was absolutely fantastic. Trio of meat roast, the meat was perfectly cooked and the gravy was thick, the roast potatoes were lovely ( home cooked ) but not enough of them to be honest. All in all a really great roast dinner. @ £17 each it wasn't c
The Hidden Kitchen restaurant at the back of this pub is amazing. Great food and good service. The wine selection was very good as well.
A lovely small traditional local pub. No television blasting out nor loud music so you can hold conversations easily. Very friendly service. Average prices. Only one cask ale available at the moment. It would be nice to have a choice of an alternative.
